This sweet lil' angel is Emily, one of our recent rescues!

Emily was living at the same house where we found our little black Cubby we posted about for Black Cat Day.
She was very sick with upper respiratory and conjunctivitus. We saw that Emily had 2 siblings that were twice her size and seemingly healthy.
Sadly, they would not let us take the siblings to at least be fixed. However, they allowed us to take Emily.

Well look at her MEOW! Emily just needed good nutrition and a little TLC. She improved very quickly and is healthy and thriving like a normal kitten.

Emily has a passive sweet personality. She is about 11 weeks old and has been fully vetted. Emily is ready for her furever loving family!

It's Black Cat Appreciation Day!

We honor babycat and his family of blacks

We were were trapping at a home last night and heard baby cries. We searched and searched a porch that was being used for storage, it was quite a mess and found this little fella and unfortunately his deceased siblings. He tried to get away and wound up stuck in a picture frame! He was a sight to see. His siblings were very decomposed and it was a sad thing to find, but the light in the darkness was this little soul. He is about 4 weeks. His eyes are a mess and he is thin, but apparently a fighter. He is being fostered and couldn't be in better hands.

We caught one adult cat, hope it's his momma, but there are several there and they are all black! (we were there earlier in the week and caught two and will go back)

It was quite an adventure. We were rain soaked and stayed out too late, but it was worth it and believe it was meant to be to find this precious little soul.
It's ALWAYS worth it, even for ONE cat, to stop their suffering and the suffering of their unwanted homeless offspring

Happy update:
Laurel was adopted today!!
She will be the center of attention in her new home💜😊💜😊

Do you have room in your heart and home for sweet Laurel? 💜💜
She was rescued as a little kitten and adopted, but unfortunately, her adopter dropped her off at the local shelter after 10 months due to a move.😞
Now, poor Laurel is back in foster care and looking for a forever family.
She's already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV & Leukemia.

Summer is a very beautiful young teenager, you must see her in person to appreciate her beauty. Summer is very shy, but super sweet and loving with her foster family. She is lad back and gets along well with the other kitties in the home.

Novalee!!

Novalee and her four siblings were rescued from a Walmart parking lot. We suspect they were dumped there, because they all are so sweet and friendly. So glad we found them when we did, the very next day Novalee gave birth to 4 babies!

Novalee is just a kitten herself and as you can see, super playful! She is not a big fan of being held for more than a few seconds, but loves attention and being with her people. She is a social girl and gets along with her foster siblings and the dog.
Novalee is spayed, microchipped, felv/fiv tested (neg), utd on vaccines, deworming and flea prevention.

Meet Sugar Doodle!

Considering how handsome he is, not sure why this boy has not been snatched up yet! Look at his beautiful classic tabby coat, stunning! He is super sweet too and gets along with all. He likes to cuddle almost as much as he likes to wrestle! Sugar Doodle is brave and loves to explore, but is smart and knows his boundaries. He's the total package!
His best friend is his brother Bomber. They would like to be adopted together, but it is not required as long as there is another compatible kitty in the home.

Sugar Doodle is about 5 mos. old. Sugar Doodle is very healthy and has no known health issues.
He is neutered, microchipped, felv/fiv tested (-), up to date on vaccines, deworming and flea prevention. He's ready to go!

❤️Meet Slater❤️
Slater was a community cat that was posted on a local urgent cat page for help, a few volunteers came to his rescue❤️and one of them became his foster mom😊
Over a few months Slater was treated for mange and recovered. During this time his Foster mom saw how sweet he was, he was then fully vetted and placed up for adoption. Slater was rescued two years ago and is still waiting…😞
He was adopted once but we was returned within a few hours because he hid in the closet😭
Slater has blossomed in his foster home😊
he is a very sweet, shy, gentle and laid-back boy and gets along with all the other pets in his foster home.😻
He loves attention and to be brushed.
He would love to have his own family🙏
Slater needs an adopter with patience that will give him the time he needs to feel comfortable and get acclimated into a new environment. He would do best in a quieter home with no young children or big dogs.
He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines,
FIV/FELV tested (FIV+) and microchipped.

Chaz came to the rescue when he was just a few weeks old, eventually he was adopted but was recently returned when his owner moved out of state and could not take him.
His previous owner said he is the best cat and got along great with his kids.
