⚠️Sadly, we have lost this beautiful elm tree to Dutch Elm Disease 😔 it happened so quickly, literally within a few months this summer! Unfortunately, the tree has to come down today along with some dead branches on the Ash-tree next to it, so I apologize for the inconvenience in the driveway. There may be cones set out to indicate where you can pull in the front half of the driveway or on the lawn depending on where the tree guy sets up. 🚧 Thanks so much for understanding and make sure you keep an eye on your elm/ash trees. ☹️🌳

Good morning!
I seem to be having an issue processing some credit cards through my system.
Debit/bank cards seem to be going through okay but credit cards are being declined.
I read it has something to do with the update that caused all the problems last week,
so if clients could plan on bringing cash or check as a back up that would be great!

Hi everyone please read!

As the busy summer season gets underway I wanted to reach out with some updates!😎

I am still not accepting new clients for 2024. Existing clients with new dogs may be accepted (please talk to me if you get a new dog!) 🐾🛁

My books are almost completely full for the summer into September at the moment! 🌞🧼🛁
If you haven’t scheduled an appointment and want to be on my cancellation list please let me know!🐶

I try my best to accommodate nervous/reactive dogs but my shop is very small and I run a tight schedule, so I ask that you arrange for pickup of your dogs within 30 minutes of groom completion to allow room for the next client. 😊🙏🐩🦮

⚠️Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may not be able to be seen.

*Please keep in mind the traffic in Wiscasset this time of year can be bad, especially after 3:30!😉

**⚠️Due to the high demand for appointments, going forward all no shows or last minute cancellations (same day) will be charged a $25 fee per dog scheduled upon next visit.**⚠️🕓

Lastly, because I’m a small business, payment for my services is expected at time services are rendered. Please don’t make me chase you down to get paid. 🙏💵💳

We are a full service Dog Grooming Salon conveniently located at 83 Birch Point Road in beautiful Wiscasset, Maine. We are a brand new Dog Grooming Salon owned and operated by Liz Clinton. We are a one Groomer operation which ensures your dog gets the one on one attention they deserve!

Birch Point Dog Spa is a brand new dog grooming salon built in 2020. I have the ability to groom dogs of all sizes with my electric grooming table that can be lowered right down to the floor for our senior/larger pups and a ramp/door on my tub for the same purpose. My blow dryer motors are located below my shop which allows me to dry dogs with much less noise which is much less stressful for them! I also have cage dryers that provide a gentle air flow to allow the dog to dry inside the kennel if need be. My shop is designed with the dogs comfort in mind and I pride myself in providing a relaxing, stress-free environment for your dog.

A little about me..

My name is Liz Clinton and I was born and raised in Bath, Maine. I am a 2006 graduate of Morse High School and I graduated from A+ Pet Grooming Academy in 2011. I worked as a dog groomer for 4 years locally before taking a break and going to school to be a dental assistant, which I've been employed as for the last 5 years. Grooming has always been my passion and my dream was to own my own salon one day. As things worked out I am now in a position where I am able to have my own grooming salon and work from home! I am so excited for this next chapter in my life and to get back to what I truly love...dogs! There’s nothing I like better than being around animals. So, If you’re searching for a reliable and experienced Dog Groomer, look no further! I’ll take care of your beloved pup as if they were my own — with love, kindness and endless patience.
