Found a new 🏠

REW buck #2 - born May 2nd weighs 2 pounds
Out of a blue tort Dream Bunnies doe that is out Dream Bunnies Ice Pop (1 senior leg) and Trevor's Toby (granded buck multiple BOB winner) and the dad is Dream Bunnies Waylon (a chestnut buck that has a couple junior legs and goes back to Cammacks).
He's more massive, has good bone, and has some good parts. Could be agouti.

REW buck #1 - born May 2nd weighs 2 pounds
Out of a blue tort Dream Bunnies doe that is out Dream Bunnies Ice Pop (1 senior leg) and Trevor's Toby (granded buck multiple BOB winner) and the dad is Dream Bunnies Waylon (a chestnut buck that has a couple junior legs and goes back to Cammacks).
He's more refined at this point but has some good parts. Could be agouti.

I have five junior brood type rabbits to move. They are all in that 14 - 16 week age range. The REWs aren't big - at that 2 pound mark or a little more. I had some feed issues when they were younger but they seem to be catching up on the new feed. I don't want to work with REWs so I don't want to grow any out. I also have an orange and chestnut doe who will carry dilute and possibly REW. Bodies are really nice but you'll need a buck with excellent crown. They are all 💲 to move. Lines include Dream Bunnies, JC Critters, Cammacks, and Trevor's. If anyone needs a posed picture PM or I'll get them later. I'm attending Wisconsin State next weekend and Coldwater, MI in October.
REW doe could be agouti
Two REW bucks - carry dilute could be agouti
One orange doe
One chestnut doe

I had a fantastic day at the Coldwater, MI show. First, and foremost, they always welcome me with open arms and are the nicest group of breeders you could ever be a part of. So many laughs were shared and new memories made. There were too many people to name but Diane and Chrissy (my sister from another mother) hold a special place with me and I always love spending time with them. It was great having Scott as a judge. We don't get him nearly enough. Fun fact, Scott gave me my first top 10 Convention placing in Fort Worth when he placed my broken senior doe 9th. I was so excited! As always, Bryan put on a very well run show and we were able to get out by 3:30. Loved that!
I had some nice placements and 4 class wins over 3 shows. My solid senior doe, Ivy, won Best of Breed in the 2nd All Breed show. She's just off a litter but looked good even with her mom bod. And my broken junior buck won 2 out of 3 classes. I believe we had somewhere around 80 Hollands shown so very nice numbers. Congratulations to Jenny and Diane on your wins. I look forward to coming back to see everyone again.

Tort doe and blue tort buck sibling pair I'm growing out. We'll see what they look like in two months for Convention. Love the bone but thinking the doe may be broodier.

I really dislike this little doe's crown placement but I love how short and wide she is. Although she may never see a show table, I think she'll be very beneficial in my cream and chin color projects. Hoping she's a REW carrier like both parents.

I think this broken orange chocolate carrier buck will stay on the smaller side, but he sure is cute.

I am not very patient in waiting for everyone to push through their molts before breeding again. I can't wait to see what the new generation will bring. Thinking I'll take the broken frosty doe to Criminal for best chance at some really nice chin carriers.

I want to apologize to my fellow Holland breeders for my previous post. We all need to hold ourselves to a higher standard despite our differences. Even though this is an election, it's not the forum to air our grievences. This is the best club, where you will make lifelong friends, and it should be respected as such. I hope anyone who was considering getting into Hollands will still do so. It is a wonderful breed to be a part of and these little lops will fill your hearts with love. Hope to see you at the shows soon.

Another casualty of the fur chewing that I believe is caused by something lacking in the feed. I fully switched to Heinold Commercial a week ago and the difference is unreal. They are eating and putting on weight. Their condition is improving with flesh coming back over the topline. Hopefully I'll continue to see improvement. Hopefully this 11 week old will grow her fur back by Convention. She may have a chance at a Top 10 if she does.

Here's another little that has caught my eye. Out of GC JC's Vengeance (GC Dream Bunnies Brewster daughter) and Cody's Ringo. This baby is a result of a true friendship breeding. The mom was a friendship breeding with Chrissy and the baby is a friendship breeding with Cody. Bunny friendships are the best kind. Really excited to watch this one grow.

Never get excited about babies, because if you do, you set yourself up for disappointment. With that being said, I see so many glimpses of Caddyshack in this grandbaby. As little as it is. It already sits forever just like she did. And that boofy little head just makes me smile.

It's hard to get pictures of sibling REWs who don't scan in the same direction. 🤣 I have 3 little REW bucks now and all 3 have some potential. These two are out of a blue tort daughter of Trevor's Toby and Dream Bunnies Ice Pop and the dad is Dream Bunnies Waylon (chestnut grandson of Cammacks Outlaw). I'll grow them out but will most likely be available at a later date.

This special little guy is a product of an ongoing friendship breeding with Chrissy Royer. We've been working a line back and forth and it's making some cute stuff! There's just something about him that makes me smile. Look what we made Chrissy! I'm going shopping in my own barn to find that herd buck with the shoulder width and depth of chest I need. ❤️

I'm hoping this lovely little doe will balance to her ears by Convention. ❤️

Some of the littles are starting to get big enough to show glimmers of promise. Spending the summer working on improving my stock - mainly shoulder width, mass, and prettier heads. I'm starting to see some progress.

Never discount those brood does. Sometimes they make the cutest babies. Breeders, for the most part, are going to keep the show stock for themselves. But if they offer up a nice brood animal to make your own, do it. Not only will you have pride in producing your own show string, but you'll have a strong foundation to keep on producing beautiful Hollands. Big thanks to Char Swade for the mom who is a big brood doe. I'll be repeating this litter.

Starting to put together a rehoming to a new rabbitry list. This is Waylon. He has a couple junior legs and makes pretty babies. He comes in at a compact 3.02 pounds. He may be looking to hop. List has not been finalized yet so not 100% sure with him.

I haven't pulled this doe out for a couple months. I was shocked at how much her shoulders widened and how deep her chest is. I'm thinking she may make the Convention team. She either carries chin or REW as she's out of my granded frosty doe.
