I found this to be interesting. I have a big broken chestnut brood doe that has given me three litters so far. Two litters were fathered by two different broken torts. With the exception of REWS that she has produced, she's only ever given me orange and chestnut. I'm guessing she's homozygous for agouti. This last litter is four oranges, and three chestnut, sired by a broken tort. Anyone else track this kind of thing?

My little buck on a budget is really turning out cute. He's muscular, wide, and I love his crown and wide ears. He needs more depth of chest, cheeks, and his ears don't balance at the moment. But he shows enough promise to grow out. It will be interesting to watch him develop.

Baby boom in the rabbitry today in this heat. I have several fans going. JC's Puff & Dream Bunnies Re*****on had a repeat litter of 7 of my 5th place Nationals SJD. I also had a litter out of a daughter of GC Trevor's Toby. Lots of color this round with oranges, chestnuts, blue torts, and blacks. Several more does due in the next couple of weeks.

Rabbits are only a small part of my life. So what does everyone do outside of rabbits? Horses have been a part of my life since before I can remember. They will be a part of my life long after the rabbits are gone. I live on a 27 acre farm that has been in my husband's family for over 100 years. It's definitely my happy place.

I love the mass and width on this little buck. I think he'll be a fun one to watch grow up.
