Commander's first 2 foals have been born!! A grulla splash white c**t and a BAY splash white c**t!! So we sent another hair sample to Animal Genetics and now they are saying he's NOT homozygous dun!!! His original test results from them said DD (I have a copy of that). Everything else matches. We will be color testing through AQHA but they take a while. His 5 panel is already on file with AQHA, so we just need to add his color but I wanted to post about this since I have listed him as being homozygous dun when apparently, he's NOT.

Talk about home bred! The foal in the photos is our stallion A Sterling Command - AQHA grulla splash white stallion EE aa DD SW1 and in the last photo his grandmother, mother and father are all standing together! ❤️ These were taken back in 2016. I'm super excited to see the first foal crop "Commander" will have for Shining C Grulla Horses next year!!
