Clover is a unique hedgehog that is often an all time favorite at Bushy Boar Hedgehogs , with a personality that captures many of people’s attention, and a naturally large size that turns all heads that has seen her in person… One of her greatest features is that she also has red ruby eyes (similar to a albino) and has pigmentation patches resembling a cow on her body! ❤️🦔

The hoglets love playing with their wheel! Hedgehogs can travel up to 2 miles a day and move at a speed of up to 6.5 feet per second.🦔❤️

When it comes to breeding hedgehogs it’s not always easy! We lost two baby hoglets last night to an unknown reason… but we are blessed to say that clover has been nursing and nesting other the three like no other! 🦔❤️ It’s a very rough process of raising babies, but it’s so worth it in the end! ❤️

It’s been a truly amazing experience to be able to watch these babies grow from the size of jelly beans to the crazy little golf balls that they are now… They are starting to wonder around and explore everything. 🤎🦔
The babies have started to self-anointing… 🦔
It's where a 'hog will foam at the mouth, and start spreading the foam onto its spines with it's tongue. This is completely normal, and thought to be a way for hedgehogs to cover themselves in a new smell, although researchers are still not 100% sure of the reason for self-anointing.
One out of the four babies that came from the pairing of Clover and Eggroll is a ruby eyed reverse pinto! Instead of having black or brown eyes, this one has a pretty Ruby red! 🦔
