Hey everyone….. it’s been a while since my mom posted.

Today was so much fun….. I got to go on a walk since it was nice weather. We haven’t gone on too many walks because it’s been really cold and snowy- I don’t like either.

My hooman mom said I did such a good job remembering all my commands and that I am the smartest dog! She took a picture with her silly phone of me sitting and focused while on our walk……. The best part was I got a treat every time she gave a command and I obeyed. (little does she know that I would do it without a treat, but boy do I love those treats)!!!

Hey all….. it’s been awhile since me and mom humans posted— I have been busy relaxing and chewing my bones!

We did something different this Christmas…. Went on vacation and stayed in a cabin in the woods!! I loved all the smells and woods!! My human mom said I was in my doggie element!

We hiked around the trails and then I napped at lot- that was hard work.

I got some new bones and frozen Kong with peanut butter for my gifts….. yum!!

My after walk situation..... I love laying on the cool floors with the fan over me!! My mom says I did a good job walking and practicing things from my lessons!!❤️

Dorothy we are so proud of how much you have learned and we have as your family!! Here is a video of something that Dorothy has learned in our training- stop in walk, sit, watch, and wait for release.. it has really helped as she was reactive in walks to anyone/anything around her. She is also doing great with “leave it” to focus on our walk not other things around us. She is sooo smart and such an amazing dog! We are learning so much together!! (Excuse my lack of skill in taking videos while walking a dog)

There’s been a lot of change going on in my house, lots of hammering, sawing, and contractors.... my hoooman family had a large deck built which I love to sit on and look out and listen to what is going on.

Even more importantly, they built me my own steps down into the back yard where I love to run and smell for creatures..... My own steps!!! Wow.

(yes Dorothy, we love you so much and wanted you to have your own special steps to get to the back yard)

Update.... this is actually the 2 year celebration of my Gotcha Day.... my hoooman mom and sister celebrate each year with me since they don’t know my bday!!!

Guess what today is...... my Happy Gotcha Day!!!! My mom even found a wheat free cake all for me!!!!

Dorothy our family is so glad that you accepted us as your forever family 2 years ago!!

Finally got my new non-slip
Booties for the house. They feel kind of weird when my mom puts them on.... but I love walking around in them. BTW, they are much better than those kitty socks!!!

Hey all.... it’s been a while since I posted on here. My family got the floors in the house redone... the soft carpet is gone. I don’t know what to think of this new wood floor, I keep slipping and sliding. My mom ordered me some special booties for the house, but until those come in she got me some kitty socks to wear..... really mom, kitties. Hopefully my special new booties will be here soon so I can stop wearing these.

So I have started this new thing with my mom and hoooman sister called training- they say we are going to work on my barking, walking on my leash, and some more things. We are working to help me keep calm in my house, sit/stay, and focus. My hoooman sister is the best..... she gives me lots of treats when we train.

I got a special bone from Adia my trainer for Christmas..... I can sit, stay, and watch really good while I see my new bone.

New year!! 2019 brought me a hooman family of my own. They love me and spoil me.... my mom says I am the baby!!
Awww so happy and peaceful!! This is how I brought in the New Year with my Hooman family..... I love that my hooman sister lays with me. She even shares her blankets with me ❤️

This was my 1st Christmas with my new hooman family!!! I got a bone, tug toy, and yummy treats!!! What a fun day with my family!! I also learned that the sweet potato pie I pulled off the stove wasn’t for me, I didn’t know why... I only tried a little bite!!

From Dorothy’s family: we are soooo overjoyed to celebrate Dorothy’s first Christmas with our family. We love her sooo much!! She is such a joy to our family and totally love bug!!

Funny thing happened today, my mom and hooman sister brought a tree into the house.... I thought they were crazy, trees are outside not inside!

I guess it looks pretty after they put lights and some other things on it.... I guess it can stay inside.

So my mom got me a few new outfits.... a winter sweater and a rain coat because I don’t like going outside in the rain. I love my sweater but still getting used to my raincoat!!

Last week we visited my favorite vets and they said I need to lose a little weight. Can you believe that!!
So mom said we are back to lots of walks since it’s not as hot outside.
Last weekend had perfect weather, so my mom and human sister and I went for a hike and played on the playground....

I’m so excited.... mom said I was doing so good sleeping through the night that I can sleep in my bed next to her bed!! I love to be with my family ALL the time!! I only have to go in my crate when no one is home...... just to be safe!

I finally got to meet my new older brother since he is home from college..... I really like him!!! He gives me lots of cookies!!!

I was so excited to meet him and smell him, I didn’t want to stand still for my mom to take pictures.

**We are so proud of how Dorothy welcomed her brother so quickly, cookies (treats)really help this- something she struggles with, especially with men.

Glad the rain has stopped.... today my mom took me and my human sister down to the creek- it was so much fun!!!

I like this slow moving water and kept trying to go deeper and deeper in... mom says I have to stay on my lead because I still don’t seem to like it when I see other dogs.

Well I tried something new today..... helping my mom wash her car.

Not sure if I like that sq**rt thing.... it kept shooting water out of it. So I had to stay next to my mom to protect her from it.

Now resting inside on the cold tile floor with the ceiling fan! Ahhh!!
