No titles, no ribbons or rosettes, none necessary. I never wanted him to leave home to train. Father Time is sitting in and he’s got a banged up nose from courting the girls. He has service dog pups doing important work with veterans and a daughter preparing to run for an AKC hunting title. People love his pups as much as I love him, and are waiting on seconds. Today, Hershey patiently waits to be let in the airing yard.

This is the second dog in the last two weeks that we’ve had come in to our hospital with this type of bone stuck around it’s mandible. Separate companies but the EXACT same design.

Please do NOT buy this type of bone for your pup! It’s not worth the risk. Luckily for this patient, our technician was able to wiggle it free but our previous patient was under general anesthesia for nearly a half hour while we went through every tool in our arsenal to saw through both sides of the bone safely.
Both dogs are lucky that they did not end up with lacerations or broken teeth.

Leeann Pellegrin and Brittany Gibson, and their families. Both of these ladies have experienced unfathomable and unexpected losses of their children this year. Our hearts are heavy for them.

We are missing our girl Tina. She is visiting her original owner Jason Simpson in Arkansas for awhile. Jason sent this picture today of Tina with her full sister Gracie. He shared that they played with a tennis ball and had fun together.
Definitely heart warming that they are together once again.

Recently, we sent two litters of Aussie pups to new homes. I want to encourage all of our new owners to explore training and sporting options for your new pups. Aussies are energetic working dogs, need exercise obedience and socialization. It is lots of great options available. Join your local AKC club or private training facilities to help you get started. This is Curly from a litter two years ago. His mom Jean started young, look at him now.
