These ladies are looking so amazing. Especially from where Ruby started as a terrified, emaciated dog with the light in her eyes almost flickered out. She was so thin and so neglected, you can see how much she has changed for the better. She is so happy. She has a ways to go still but we are so grateful for how far she has come so far.
Luna is still looking for a foster/foster to adopt so please share!

We also are still in need of donations for the ongoing vet care of Ruby, Luna, and the other animals in our foster homes.
We had a delay in the vet sending us all the invoices but all invoices for these ladies thus far are posted now.

Foster needed for 7 month old male shepherd can be a temporary foster but must fill out the foster application. Does well with other dogs, cats unknown but he is a puppy.

Luna one of the dogs surrendered from a home that was in deplorable conditions is ready to find forever. Her current foster needs to continue work with her sister. The family took on Luna as an emergency foster we have since sent her and her sister to the vet and received this glowing report from her foster.

" Clear to go to another Foster or adopter Medically cleared, free of and a GREAT pup. Gentle with kids, doesn’t like being alone, listens to commands, wants you to throw but doesn’t want to bring back lol, zero food aggression - training is EASILY food motivated, she sometime gorge herself on water but it isn’t all the time, she’s still adjusting to having access to it at her leisure. Also good with other dogs."

Our hearts are broken today. Gidget, an Alumni of SOLAR, was in her home when she started experiencing seizures. We worked with her owner to get her into Heritage vet as soon as we heard. The vets tried to control the seizures with medication to no improvment. She unfortunately would not be able to come out of them with a good quality of life so it was recommended for her to be humanely euthanized. Gidget was with us for a while with no interest until she found a forever home with a foster. She was beloved and will be missed so much.
We know this is not our usual plea for donations but if you would like to donate to get our vet funds back up, every bit is appreciated.

Our little Rouge girl Lily bug tried on her new jacket on her way to her adopters home. Thanks to our Julie Sly she was able to have not only a new jacket , new harness, leash and a brush to take with her.
Julie was a great collector for our rescue animals we sure do miss her presence in our hearts....💜🩵 happy life little girl can't wait to see the adventures you get to go on with your new family!

Courtesy Post: Many of you may remember Joey and MaeMae, our outreach babies that we vetted to save Joey from heartworm and spay/neuter both. Well they are once again in need of our help. Their dad has passed away and they are looking for a home together.
They are brother/sister, 7 years old, fixed, chow/retriever mixes. Joey was previously heartworm positive and was cleared by our vet after treatment. He does have a bullet under his skin but it causes no issue and so removal was not recommended.
MaeMae had babies previously. Both are sweet, kid friendly and animal friendly according to the daughter of the owner(they're currently staying with her but cannot permanently stay there). They've been recently groomed.
Joey looks so sad in the picture, I'm sure they miss their dad greatly.

Meet Ruby the female hound mix
Ruby was surrendered to Realtor to the Rescue: Tasha Dane after being found in horrific conditions inside a home that kept her in a f***s filled kennel amongst piles of stuff on every side. She is going to the vet tomorrow as she likely hasn't been to a vet before. She is with one of our experienced fosters who has begun a slow refeeding schedule.
We are going to need donations to make this happen, please if you cannot donate share this post so it reaches as many people as possible.

💜🐾🩵UPDATE HER SISTER IS IN PROCESS OF JOINING US. WE STILL NEED A FOSTER SHE HAS A TEMPORARY ONE SO SHE CAN GET TO SAFETY!

🩵💜UPDATE LILY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Lily is a two year old female yorkshire terrier mix. She is about 10 lbs and does have a little bit of a curl to her coat so she may be mixed with poodle. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs(large and small). She is house trained and does great travelling in the car. She loves being with people and did great being groomed each time she has had it done. She had interest previously but nothing came of it so she is ready to find a forever home.
She comes spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative.

Sad day today as we have lost another one of our amazing volunteers. Rebecca aka Bekbek was passionate and loved every one of the cats/kittens she rescued and every one of the community cats she fed. We have known eachother since before SOLAR started and she followed right along with us once we did start our rescue. We are working on placing personal pets.

New owners at the Bubble Puppy Swim and Playhouse have started a scholarship program that they're raising funds for! Su***de awareness, depression awareness is super important to our communities. You never know what the person next to you is going through!

Meet Nilla and Toffee! A BONDED pair of 2 1/2 year old babies that have suddenly lost their human.
These domestic long hair beautiful babies are spayed/neutered microchipped vaccines, deworming flea/tick prevention included. They will come with their current cat tree, 2 large bags of their food which is grainfree. Toffee gets yucky ears if he gets into the wrong food so a quality grain free diet is a requirement. Nilla has 1 blue eye 1 green eye....super cute!
They are use to meeting other cats and dogs as their human was our foster coordinator.
They also lived with a medium/large dog.
Their adoption fee is sponsored however we will be searching for a special home that will take both, allow decompression time and patience as they were also bonded to their human.
Julie Sly fostered these 2 beautiful babies fell in love with them and adopted through SOLAR. Yes these are Julie's babies 💜🐾💜 we need a special loving human for them.
