💜💜💜 Adopted! 💜💜💜

These 2 handsome piggy boys are looking for their forever home! Their rehoming fee is $40 firm. They will come with their large c&c cage and everything that you will need for them so this is cheap for 2 piggies and an entire set up.

We decided to name this little guy Wolf. We have a theme going with our personal bunnies. They all have the name of another animal. So far we've got Otter, Panda, Moose, Duck, and now Wolf.

Wolf's ear is already looking so much better! I can't wait until he is fully recovered from the ear mites so he can explore the house. 🩷 He is still absolutely terrified, but him showing his face outside of his corner tent, willingly, is progress. I'm proud of him. He normally bolts to that corner immediately and faces away from me anytime I open the door to the rescue room.

We've got a bunny splay brace on the way to hopefully help him get around better.

Look at this new baby that arrived yesterday! He came from a breeder and he was living outside with all the other buns in the colony. He was posted for free in an animal group and they mentioned he had misshapen paws and wouldn't be good for breeding, so he could either go to a pet home or someone could take it to butcher. I didn't have the room tbh as I'm supposed to be partially closing the rescue temporarily to focus on my kiddo as she goes into 4th grade this year for homeschool and taking a short break after we lost Mr. Nibbles, but I knew I had to take him.

They didn't realize just how bad he was though until actually examining him outside of the colony and he is actually missing a hind leg, and has a front splay leg and he's got a bad case of mites in one of his ears. We will be doing a vet check soon to see if his splay leg can be corrected since he is only about 12 weeks. He is so beautiful and even though he is still pretty scared right now, he's such a sweet baby. He melts into you for cuddles when you hold him 🩷

***UPDATE: He has been adopted to the best home!***

Zippit has been returned for the 3rd time, due to no fault of his own. This poor baby has been moved around way too much. Thankfully, he has a true forever home lined up for him this Thursday with someone who is actually planning to open their own piggy rescue as well! 🥰 This will be zippits 8th home at LEAST, just from what I know about his history. 😢

Mr. Nibbles held on through the night, but he was even worse today despite everything we did to try to get him better. He was suffering at this point and he didn't deserve that so I had to make the decision to put him to sleep at the vets today. 😢 The photo was from last night. He got to sleep with my daughter and I for a while so I could keep an eye on him. He got all the snuggles and kisses.

Please pray for Mr. Nibbles. He got neutered yesterday and when I came to pick him up they told me they couldn't find his 2nd testical so they opened him up to find the other and still couldn't find it. The surgery has been very hard on him and it doesn't look good for him.

When I woke up this morning I went to check on him and he had his head resting on the side of the litterbox and it looked like he had passed. He didn't, but it sure looked that way. I gave him his pain meds but it was hard for him to swallow it. He's not doing good at all. I've got him wrapped up in blankets and heat packs and we are loving on him today. Just please pray for him. He is the best big boy and I love him so much. 🥺💔😭

Edit: The 2 boys will be getting neutered Tuesday. :) can anyone help with the rest of the cost? We've got 1 paid for, but we are about 50 short for the other bun.
Also we have decided to name this big boy, Mr. Nibbles! He likes to gently nibble fingers if you stick them in his cage 😂🥰

We have 2 bunny boys that need neutered. Can anyone help with the cost? It's about $75-$80 for each neuter. You can contact the vets office and give them my name (Makayla Grunke) to pay on the account or I can do cashapp or PayPal.
Here's a photo of one of the boys 😀 He is a BIG guy! He was roaming around for months before he was caught and brought here. He had fleas and ticks all over him. He's living the good life now. ❤️🥰 I picked him up this morning to put him back in his cage (he's an escape artist) and I swear he weighs about 10lbs!! Also, what should we name him?! I've been calling him big boy, or baby so far. 🩷

Brownie will need someone to work with her. I don't know what she went through out there before she was caught, but she is very skittish and needs someone to be patient with her while she slowly learns to trust her new owner. She will allow me to pet her head sometimes while she is eating, but she is still afraid to take food from my hand. Oreo is definitely braver than Brownie, and he likes to see what you're doing at all times, JUST in case you happen to have extra food for him. 😆 He allows me to pet him, but he can still be a little skittish at times as well. I think they've just been through a lot. They are very sweet and enjoy cuddling with each other. 🩷 They need to stay together.

Willow and Winston are ready to start their search for their forever home! 😍 Winston has been neutered and Willow has been spayed!

Winston is one of the cuddliest bunnies I have ever met! He LOVES to cuddle with you in bed! 🥹 And Willow is just as sweet, although she doesn't like being handled/picked up as much as Winston does. She is more comfortable coming to you on her own terms and getting pets that way instead. She will climb up in your lap or sit on top of you if you sit/lay on the floor though. 🤭😆

I may or may not be posting this little one to help keep me accountable so I don't end up keeping this one for myself 😂 But now that I know this little ones gender for sure, HE is ready to start looking for a home! He has Himalayan markings! 🩷 He goes by a few different names so far 🤪 Houdini/Ghost/Snowball. I think he is around 3 to 4 months old. So he is not neutered yet, and he will need to be. (Ellis County Animal Hospital does bunny neuterings for around $75-$80) This also means he will need young/alfalfa based rabbit feed, and he will need alfalfa hay mixed in with his timothy hay. If you plan to let him free roam (which I HIGHLY encourage) during the day and then put him in a cage at night time you will need to make sure it has a lid on the top, or make sure it's tall enough when using c&c grids. Otherwise he will escape the second you have your back turned. 😆 He is SUCH a sweetheart! He will allow you to pick him up for cuddles, and he likes to lick you and climb all over you. He was definitely someone's pet before he got dumped outside. If you're interested in adopting this sweet boy, please fill out his adoption application below! It's impossible to get any work done with this little cutie around 😍 He is so sweet and cuddly! What should we name this little guy? Pretty sure it's male anyway. Time will tell.

If you look closely, you can see the babies moving in Willows tummy! She has been laying around more the last 2 days. Poor girl. This will be the last litter she will ever have to have and I'll make sure of it!

Willow is settling in nicely. I finally got to see a binky from her! 😍 She is precious! Ignore her coco puffs on the floor. She's still adjusting and getting the hang of being an inside bunny but she will get there. 🩷🐇

Today was such a happy day for Sprinkles and all her babies! Sprinkles and her 3 girls all went to the same home together and it could not have been a better fit! Some of you might remember that one of my personal boys, Beans, turned out to be the father of her babies from when Sprinkles jumped down into his and Butterscotchs cage that night. Well, the home they went to was originally Beans and my boy Cookies owners! It just wasn't the right timing for them back then when they had beans and cookie. But they were ready to welcome some more guinea pigs back in to their life and now they have beans babies! How cool! 🤩 And Peanut, Sprinkles baby boy, went home with the same family that adopted Nugget from us recently so now Nugget and Peanut both have a buddy! It seems like they are already the best of friends 😍💜 it won't let me add his photo so I will put it in the comments below. Happy adoption day sweet piggies!
