So the three little pigs are coming along. They don’t want me touching them yet, but they will eat in front of me! And that’s an improvement from the first day. As you can see they are skinny and small. That’s a regular sized rooster eating with them.
Don’t worry boys, time is on your side now.

Is anyone around Perkiomenville? I was just made aware of three little pigs terrified at a local auction. They’re in bad shape and we need to get into Rescue ASAP. However, I have teacher conferences today and I don’t think I can get there for the auction itself at 12:30.

Romeo is doing amazing with his weight loss and is now the ideal weight. He was very angry with me shortly after this tho bc he got his hooves done. Love his pug face!! He still can’t see well, but much better.

Today we took in 2 pigs who survived the Narrow Way Farm cruelty case. They are extremely skinny, very nervous, but open to new opportunities.
Meet Spike & Leo. Both boys are around 2 years old. And only weigh approximately 65 lbs each. And this is after months with bucks county SPCA. Theses poor creatures deserve full bellies, warm soft beds, and lots of love!

Narrow way farm goats

These are some of the goats that were rescued from Narroway farm over the summer not everybody has been cleared for adoption yet, but we were lucky enough to be able to come up and bring these for home with us!!

Gertrude came to us from Philadelphia animal care and control. Sadly, her owner had passed away and she was losing her home. She came to us very overweight and extremely sad. Pigs show a ton of emotion! They even cry and Gertrude cried for weeks. Fast forward and here we are today. Gertie is now walking around the entire pasture. She’s found the creek. She’s made friends and she seems to be in a much Better Pl.,. Gertie will be with us for the remainder of her life. Please consider sponsoring her as she continues to heal, and live her best life!

Our 6 month old Armenian Gampr is our Livestock guardian dog. Today she did her first alert! It was just deer, but she got them out of the pasture and moved along. Great Job Vahe! #LSGD #armeniangampr

Mennonites Goats

We were able to trim some of the worst hooves today on the Mennonite Goats .hopefully it’ll help them start to feel better and start walking normal again, but this will take time along with proper nutrition & veterinary care. as you can imagine adding 22 mouths to our feed bill is going to be a challenge!
