The last of 2023's sap is in my finishing pan and almost done.
I collected a total of 693 gallons of sap and will end up with 14.5 gallons of bottled syrup.

I only have about 20 gallons of sap to boil for Massachusetts Maple Weekend. The sugarhouse will be open from 1-4 pm for visitors.
I have Golden, Amber, and Dark syrup available for sale.

8.5 gallons bottled so far this year. I have 50 gallons of sap collected this week and it is flowing like a faucet today.
I will be boiling Saturday March 11 from noon-4pm. Come over to see the process and buy some syrup.

181 gallons of sap boiled down to 4.25 gallons of amber syrup. This brings me up to 9 gallons of syrup for the season so far.

Since I collected another 60 gallons of sap in the past 24 hours, I will be boiling on Sunday, March 5th starting at 1pm.
The sugarhouse will be open for visitors from 1-5pm.
If I'm not in the sugarhouse at the moment you arrive, be patient, I will be there shortly.

With the sap running like a faucet this morming and with 60 gallons in the barrels, I will be boiling from 10am-1pm and 4pm-whenever its done tomorrow. Brave the snow and come out to see a local sugarhouse in operation.

I collected 33 gallons of sap this morning, so i will be boiling starting at 1pm

I will be boiling starting at about 1pm on Saturday 2/11.
After boiling 80 gallons on Thursday and collecting 43 more gallons of sap, I have 83 gallons to boil tomorrow.

I tapped the trees today. Let the sugaring season begin. I still have about 20 more taps to put in at other peoples houses.

Due to a much needed personal vacation, I didn't tap the trees this year, and as such, I don't have any syrup to sell this year.

The 2021 maple syrup season is done. 10.5 gallons of syrup made in a short 4 week season. 3 batches, 1 golden, 1 amber, and 1 dark. Its all bottled and ready for shipping.

The sap is gushing today. I guess I need to boil some of it tonight so it doesn't spoil. This is from 11 taps and 3/16 tubing

First boil of the year. 112 gallons of sap collected as of this morning.
I'm boiling in my 3-season porch this year thanks to adding a steam hood to the equipment.
