I have siamese looking kittens. They will be adopted out with first vaccinations, de-wormed, microchip, and to homes who have at least one professional cat related reference such as a vet. Already litter box trained, eating quality variety of foods and exposed to dogs and kids. The mother is however fairly independent and and has some attitude so I can't guarantee they won't too. Available July 23rd.
Adoption fees will go to get the several feral cats dumped near our place fixed.
If ever you can't keep the kitten I request you return to me to find a new placement.

Keeping your pet during hard times...

Due to the hardships many have faced with the difficult economic situation and in an attempt to help keep pets in their homes, I'm offering a few free scholarships for behavior evaluations for any types of dog or animal behavior problem solving.

I already keep my prices at 50%the average for someone certified in dog training and Applied Animal Behavior (Washington University), but this still is out of reach for many.

Sponsors
If you are interested in sponsoring someone needed help with Dog training or animal behavior consulting then please contact me.
I haven't developed a screening process for need or income guidelines or anything at the moment. This will partially be up to those who might sponsor someone.
I will also be offering a few free webinar and seminars for issues such as potty training, destructive behavior, home alone issues, and preventing and solving common behavior problems. Stay tuned.

Groups
Group dog training classes will be scheduled this spring hopefully depending on the outcome of a few possible surgeries my baby needs.
In-home private lessons always available.

Dog club
We are also looking into developing a local dog club or group for training for Animals Assisted Therapy. Let me know if you may be interested.

July is just around the corner, which means that you’ll be cooling off any and every way you know how! The heat is uncomfortable, but by sweating, you can cool down and regulate your body temperature to a much more comfortable number. But you’ll notice that your dog doesn’t sweat. They may pan...

The start of the Greybull group dog training classes were postponed today due to the weather. There is still a few weeks and a few open spots to sign up (because you can easily make up the first session with a private lesson). Class size will be limited to about 9 but if we get too many then we will split it into two groups.

If you are not in the class, the dog park is open to everyone of course, and so you can enter during class, but the best time to come would be after class for playtime at about 7:15pm on Fridays for the next 6 weeks, weather permitting of course.

Worland classes start May 7th on Saturdays, indoors at the Petbarn

I've been busy with the new baby but am ready to start doing dog training classes again.

I'm also getting started on putting my Master of Social Work degree to use and starting a business doing online clinical therapy and eventually animal/Equine Assisted Therapy, so someday I'm going to need to find someone who can take over the dog training and behavior program.

Until then, I'm the only animal behaviorist within several hours any direction. I have a certification in Applied Animal Behavior through Washington University (UW-AAB). I've been training with reward based and scientific methods before it was cool to do so, 22 years now.

I got started in a training program through PetsMart in Spokane Washington at place called Spokanimal or The Ruff House. I worked for Zoo Montana as a tour guide, and in many rescue groups. I have a B.S. in psychology with an emphasis on animal behavior and human addiction. I have a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis on Animal Assisted Therapy, but did a lot of my internships related to human addiction and cultural differences.

I traveled the world showing dogs and attending dog training classes and events. I even brought a dog home from Italy. I worked in search and rescue with dogs. I taught the dog 4-H program in Thermopolis for years. So, I've got experience in competition obedience, agility, rally-o, dock diving, and many other dog sports or games.

Group lessons starting soon
