There's a new ballot initiative, number 129. It's attempting to establish a new role in veterinary medicine. A person in this new role would be able to perform physical exams, diagnose and treat conditions, and even perform surgery. All of this without going to veterinary school and passing the national veterinary licensing exam that all veterinarians must pass in order to legally diagnose, treat, prescribe, and perform surgery. All of this which is part of a veterinarians job description. All of this that is is vital to the health and wellbeing of the animals we care for. All of this without continued educational requirements, board tests, or accountability. All of this. . . scares me. I firmly believe that I could not competently preform my job without every class I ever took in veterinary school. I fear how undereducated decisions could impact animal and human health. How will it impact antibiotic resistance? How will it impact food safety? How will it impact disease transfer from animal to human? How will it impact the families that rely on pets and livestock?

Twin Forks Clinic does not support Proposition 129. A vote NO on Proposition 129 means you care about safeguarding against veterinary malpractice.

Friday, August 30 starting at 8:00 AM until work is complete, the City of Wray will be repairing the road at the railroad crossings on Main Street. During this time, road closures and detours will be in place as shown. Once work is complete, the crossing will be reopened to traffic. Kittens have found homes!!! Thank you all!!!

The 3 together are all girls and the individuals are boys!
All have had their first distemper vaccine and dewormed once.

She is originally from Shelby, Nebraska. She received her bachelors at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Iowa State University.

We are excited to have her with us!

😻 Ok folks!! This sweet boy really needs a home. He was neutered today and can go to a new home tomorrow if any body wants him. He is a complete love bug and does pretty well around other cats, little nervous of dogs, but I have a feeling he will get used to them fast!!
Please give us a call or come by the Wray clinic to meet him if you are interested!!

Sadly, no one has come forward to claim this sweet boy! If you would like to adopt him and get cuddles like no one’s business, give us a call at the Wray clinic. He had a check up with a clean bill of health and we started his vaccines today!

This sweet little boy showed up at the clinic in Wray.

This sweet husky girl found her way to the vet clinic in Wray! She is safe for the night! If she is yours, she can be picked up tomorrow morning after 8am!
