🐾🐾🐾Time for an update! This will be new policies for 2025! 🐾🐾🐾

So first off I want to start out by thanking all my wonderful customers for another great year! I’ve been working at my home for 5 years now! Crazy!

1st new thing for 2025 will be a $5 increase in all services! Y’all know me I hate asking for more money but it’s time!

2nd due to lots of no shows and last minute cancellations lately I will be doing grooming contracts and adding credit cards to my square appt app!

Starting with the no shows, I send everyone a reminder text 24 hours before your appt so that means if you cannot make it please text me and tell me so I can try to fill that spot! If you “forget” I get it we all have a lot going on in our lives but this is my business and how I pay my bills and bills don’t “forget” so with that being said your card will be charged a minimum of 50% of your service that was going to be provided that day if you no show me! That will be non refundable and WILL NOT go towards your next grooming appt!! I hate to have to do that but I’ve been lenient on this issue for too long! I make grooming your dogs a priority so I would appreciate the same respect in return. I will also be adding the “confirm your appt” option to my reminder texts and those will go out 48 and 24 hours before your appt.

Next on the adding credit cards that means yes I will take credit cards in 2025 BUT if you pay with a credit card you will be charged a processing fee so I would still most graciously appreciate y’all paying with check or cash! I will not be pocketing that processing fee that is what would come out of my grooming service if I didn’t charge a processing fee.

Next the grooming contracts. This is something new that I’m going to be working on in the next month so be on the lookout for this.

Lastly I have some very EXCITING news that I’m very proud of! I have purchased a new tub that is top of the line for grooming! So that means also a new and bigger hot water heater! Also a new grooming table as well! So this is going to be our Christmas and New years break project!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I wanted to come on here and talk a little bit about appointments.

As of currently everyone on a normal schedule with me on a x amount weekly schedule I have booked out for the rest of the year. Yes you read that correctly. THE REST OF THE YEAR!

While I appreciate being so busy it has become impossible for me to “squeeze” people in so to avoid that I am scheduling out through 2024. If a date I have scheduled for you does not work I will do my best to give you next available. I will not be bullied or guilted into getting you in on a week or day I just absolutely can not do. You all know I am very accommodating and will do my best to schedule a day that works for both of us! I am hoping by doing this far enough in advance everyone can plan accordingly for the dates I have selected for you!

Also I will NOT be taking anymore new clients at this time. While I love what I do I can only do so many dogs in a day. This is a very mentally and psychically tiring job and plus I have a life outside of this shop that I try to enjoy as much as I can. There will be some traveling this fall as well and I have scheduled everyone accordingly.

Hey everyone!

I’ve gotten a lot of new followers on my page so I wanted to do an updated little bio and business protocol!

My name is Haley Milholand and I’m 28 years old. I have been grooming for 8 years and have owned my own business for 4.5 years at my home. I live here with my husband, Ryan, our 2 dogs Jolene and Jade along with an array of farm animals.

My business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. I do take off either a Monday or Friday every week just depending on what I have going on.

I have an appointment reminder system that I will put you in to remind you of your appt the day before and then rebook your next appt the day you come. It will come from a separate number than my personal number so if you need to contact me please use my cell phone number.

I work by myself and do my best to schedule my day out to accommodate everyone in a timely manner but everyday is different so sometimes I can get behind. To help insure that I don’t get behind please show up at your scheduled appt time. If you show up late it makes me behind the rest of my day. If you are my first appt at 9:00 am please show up as close to 9 as you can. I do have morning farm chores that have to be done before I can start working.

I do ask that you please keep your pets on flea medication and current vaccinations. That’s very important to me because it protects me, my dogs and my customers dogs. If your dogs come in with fleas I have to do extra shampooing, extra cleaning in my shop and have to get my shop and yard treated more often than I already do which cost me more money and more time out of my day which in turn will cost you more to get your dog groomed. Please talk to your vet about the best flea and tick prevention for your pets and be sure to get their yearly check ups and shots!

I take my job very seriously and try my best to insure the best experience with your dogs grooming and your satisfaction with my work. Please communicate with me with whatever needs or concerns you or your pet may have and we can come up with the best plan or solution for your pet!

Hello everyone!!

CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ!

Recently I’ve had a lot of dogs come in with fleas! It’s becoming an everyday occurrence now!Unfortunately NC is one of the WORST states for fleas and this year is worse than ever! It sucks but thankfully there’s ways to help it! I suggest everyone treat their dogs just because I’ve had dogs that never have fleas come in with fleas this year. So my suggestions for treatment are as follows:

DO NOT BUY ANY FLEA TREATMENT FROM THE DOLLAR STORE OR GROCERY STORE!

GO TO YOUR VET!! They have all the flea stuff you will need! Nexgard or Bravecto are the best ones that I have seen. Especially if you already have an existing flea problem.

Also if you do have a flea issue I highly suggest getting your yard and house treated! I had to have my yard and shop treated again this year because the fleas dogs are coming in my shop almost every day! That does cost me extra $$ and I also have to do extra cleaning when I have flea dogs come in along with me being uncomfortable all day from worrying if I have fleas on me or my dogs! I keep my dogs treated constantly so it’s unfair to me, my dogs, other customers dogs who are treated and the dogs who have the fleas on them if you’re not keeping your dog treated with the proper treatment! Taking care of the issue at home makes everyone happier!

Just know your babies well being are my first concern!

Hey friends!!

Go to your vet! They have all the flea stuff you will need! Nexgard or Bravecto are the best ones that I have seen. Especially if you already have an existing flea problem.

Jolene wears a Seresto collar which I order from chewy but she’s also an only dog and she’s good about wearing collars. I know some dogs are not. If you do decide to go the seresto collar route it is good for 6 months. It says 8 months but it’s 6. DO NOT order it from Amazon and even with chewy you have to be careful. If it comes and it’s super rubbery and flimsy it’s a fake. It should be firm and have a slight powder on it. They do carry them at tractor supply also. If you need me to send you a screen shot of the canister to make sure you get the right one I can! It’s the ONLY COLLAR I trust to buy. The others aren’t any good in my opinion.

Also if you do have a flea issue I highly suggest getting your yard treated! Just because of the dogs coming in with fleas I’m having my yard treated this week just to be on the safe side! That does cost me $$ and I also have to do extra cleaning when I have flea dogs come in so taking care of the issue at home makes everyone happier!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to check in and do a update for everyone. I’ve thought long and hard about this and I have decided to limit my hours to 9:00 A.M.- 3:00 P.M. Monday-Friday. I have always tried to be as accommodating as possible since I do work from home but I’ve decided that this is what’s best for me. Now if you need to drop off or pick up outside of those hours it’s totally fine but there will be a $5 additional charge per dog. Also with limiting hours I’m strictly enforcing the 6 dog limit per day. I appreciate it so much when you reschedule your next appt at every appointment! It makes my life so much easier so I encourage everyone to do so to guarantee a spot. If you cannot reschedule please allow me 2-3 weeks heads up for me to get you in. Also please read the updated policy from February below. I will be texting this to all my customers who text. Thank you all SO much for your support and business! I cannot even describe how blessed I feel that my business has grown so much in the past 2.5 years! It means the world to me to be able to do this! Much love to you all ♥️♥️🐾🐾🐾

***UPDATED POLICY BEGINNING FEBRUARY 2022***

There will be an increase in pricing for all services. As before, pricing will vary with each dog as each dog has different needs and circumstances. Your pricing will be discussed at the time you set up your dog’s appointment.

In order to be my best for you and your dogs, I am limiting the amount of dogs I take per day to 6 dogs. I like to take my time with each dog so that I can offer you the best quality possible. If I am being rushed through my job, I will ask you to come pick up your dog and you will still be charged accordingly. Please arrange your schedule accordingly so that you don’t feel the need to be rushed as well. Pre-booking your appointment will be extremely helpful in staying on schedule.

Missed appointments: While I understand that one can forget an appointment at times, repeated missed appointments will require a credit card on file for future services and you will be charged 50% of the missed appointment.

Late arrivals: Please be aware that I am on a schedule. Arriving late means I am now running late for the rest of the day. If you arrive late, I will have to adjust your dog’s service accordingly and may not be able to do the service 100% and I will still need to charge you 100% of your scheduled service.

Please understand that I do not takes calls or texts outside of work hours. I will not respond or return calls after 5pm or before 8am or on weekends.
