His dam was Norea, who was orig

inally a diploma mare and then named Elite Mare based on her offspring, especially Amorex. Norea was the most elegant broodmare I have ever seen. Her dam, Nirosa, was also a Diploma mare, and an Elite Mare. Nirosa's dam, Nicette, was a Diploma mare and the winner at Elmia, the national show.

Rest in peace, beloved friend. Amorex, Swedish Warmblood Stallion, 1994-2024. Thank you all who took care of him; Dennis Nelson , Bettina Drummond, Stephanie Wilks Harris, Betty Ann Cohen and especially Tracy and Bob Forslin in Ellensburg, who cared for him this last year and gave him such a good summer. The sweetest, kindest horse and an exceptional sire of Swedish Warmbloods. My buddy too. When I would visit he would rest his head on my shoulder, smelling my hair. Will really miss him.

Sweet video from where I board Amorex He's pretty old, I think 30 this spring, every day is a gift. Context: "here is a video of Amorex herding up the turkeys the other day!! He watches guard over the place and doesn’t like those turkeys in his paddock!!" He is moving so well in this, looks wonderful!
