Haven’t gotten to work with Ripp much since football season started. He’s 6 months and behind in my opinion. That’s my fault. Did some force to pile today and it’s like he didn’t forget a thing. Good genes and breeding.
After force to pile we did some hand signals
Ripp 3x force to pile
Been awhile since I’ve been able to work with Ripp since football season started. Some force to pile work this morning and it was like he didn’t miss a beat. Ready for those cold mornings and ducks cupping in.
Ripp @ 5 months. 20 retrieved under his belt now
Ripp’s first force to pile. (3 bumpers)
Ripps first swim and water retrieve
First swim ever. Handeled it great.
A controlled blind is placing a bumper down at the end of his usual location of a retrieve without him seeing. The dog trust there is a bird because he’s been going to that spot continuously. Later on we will move locations.
Excuse the 6 year olds film quality.
Ripp is short of 14 weeks. Building on leash obedience and started toward controlled blinds. You will see this in the next video.
Sprig working on really tuning up his blinds. Will start working off site locations throughout the summer to really get him to start trusting there is a bird at the end of his run.
Ripp 12 weeks hunt em up
Getting that nose in the dirt.
Ripp 12 weeks evening session
Turn down volume if you don’t want to hear Remi none stop barking. Ripp is coming along great. Also helping Sprig. He’s charging harder on retrieves than I’ve ever seen. Think he’s jealous of Ripp getting my attention. Ripp is getting a lot more steady.
