This is a nice story about a kitty family!

I first saw Tabby Tail as he herded his family – a mama and five kittens – into the bushes by my front porch. After settling them, he came up on the porch and ate from the cat food and water kept there for ferals. He stared at me and then turned back to the bushes. I could almost hear him saying, “They need food.” I put food and water near the bushes right away.

As the days passed, I realized this big cat was taking care of the family. The mother cat’s foot was injured and she moved too slowly to corral her kittens. Tabby Tail never left them, watching over them and making sure everything was safe. Soon he began bringing the family up on the porch for me to see. Again, I felt like I could hear him talking to me: “This is my family. I want you to take care of them...”

She was constantly staying near the fish market and watching people come to buy fish. She took a leaf that fell from the tree and came to the owner. On the first day, surprised, he took her
"money" and gave her a fish. From that day on, every morning she comes with a leaf to "buy" fish.

Yay! The Internet is back up here at the shop. It's been down since yesterday, and People-Daddy came today to reset everything so that the routers and the cameras all work again!

Now I can watch stuff on the Internet, and People-Daddy can keep an eye on the shop remotely.

People daddy came to the shop today to play with me, and to make sure that I'm OK. I was happy to see him, but he was walking with a stick to help him.

When he was hurt, he had a silvery frame, and he used that to help him walk, then a silvery stick, but now he has not needed a stick for a while. Now he has a black stick that he is using.

When he needs a stick to walk, that means that he has pain when he walks, and that makes me sad, but he said that he's just tired, and that he'll be OK again. I sat on his lap and purred, and he said that helped him. I would do whatever I can to help him, because he's my People-Daddy. ColbyQat and BuddyQat said they will help him, too. We will all work together to help People-Daddy.

The kitty was only trying to feed her babies!

When my gold and white friend with the pink collar used to visit me, People-Daddy noticed, and put out some kibble for her, because she might be hungry. She told me to thank People-Daddy for doing that. It's important to share.

If you have enough to share, and you do, that is a good thing. If you don't quite have enough, and you share anyway, that shows true selflessness.

I have been watching the news on the TV here at the shop, and it looks like Mr. Trump got the top of his ear shot off. Well, the top of my ear was also clipped off, but it's because I've been fixed so I can't make kittens.

Without getting political, People-Daddy said that maybe we should do that to a lot of politicians, so they can't reproduce!

People-Daddy came here to check on me and pick up the mail, but he was very tired and hot from working on his other house, so he didn't stay, but he brought me a piece of chicken for a treat. The sky got very dark, and it got windy, and then the lady in the wall was making loud noises and warning about bad weather.

Then the boomies started, and all of my outdoor friends ran for cover, and it got very dark. When it was raining, there wasn't only rain, but also little balls that melted when they landed in the warm parking lot. I was so fascinated by them that I forgot to be afraid of the weather, until a big boomy happened, then I ran and hid in my safe spot.

Now it's all over, but we might get more, so I'm going to sleep in my safe spot tonight.

It is getting very dark outside like we are going to have a storm. I know that it's too early to be getting dark just because it's evening.

People might think that I can't tell time just because I'm a cat, but I have a secret. You see, People-Daddy has a clock on the wall of his office that used to belong to his mommy. It is not an ordinary clock because instead of numbers on it it has different birdies and on the hour, whatever birdie will chirp. I used to get very excited looking for the birdies but then I realized that they all live in the clock.

When it is warm outside, it starts to get dark right around Owl O'clock, And it's only Bluebird O'clock right now.

People-Daddy came to the shop today and did more cleaning and cutting weeds in the parking lot. He also filled up all of my food dispensers and water dishes.

We played with a ball that was in the parking lot, but he didn't toss it for me to fetch, because it was heavy. He is still tired, and doesn't really feel well, but he still comes to take care of me.

Did somebody start a war and forget to tell me? It sure does sound like it out there. I mean we are not far from the largest joint military base on the East Coast, And sometimes we hear it, but this is much louder. It's not thunder-boomies, because there's no rain, although it's supposed to rain later.

I think I'll go in my safe space until it's all done!

The lady in the wall just said that we're going to have big thunder-boomies, so I'm hoping that my outdoor friends will be OK out there.

The sky is very dark, and the lady said we could get floods, too, but we don't get those here at the shop. I think I should go check out my special hiding place under the big work bench. It has a blanket in it, so I can sleep in there and hide, and even if there is a disaster, I will be safe.

People-Daddy came here to the shop this morning, to fill my food and water, and to give me some treats. I showed him my claws, but they didn't need clipping, but he gave me the reats anyway, because he said that it's important that I know that cooperation when it's claw clipping time is important.

I didn't have any more dead mousies to give him, but he said that was OK, as long as there are not any live ones running around the shop. He was going to bring a noisy toy and do some trimming outside the shop, but it rained last night, so it's just too wet. I told him can trim when it gets dry, and he said he was going to go home to get rid of more junk in his house. Sometimes I wonder just how much junk People-Daddy has, so I asked BuddyQat, and he told me that it is, in a word, substantial!

People-Daddy set up another feeding and watering station in the back room of the shop, so that if the front station runs out of food and water, I can still have food to eat, and water to drink. He said I need to always drink enough water. He loves me, and I love him, so I brought him a dead mousie that I caught. He thanked me, but he didn't eat it. That's OK, I know he appreciated it anyway.
