I know, I have been absent for way too long here. Trust me though, I am still working and creating custom orders.
Life has been "interesting" lately with things going on with my family members. It's settling down and I thought I should post my recent projects and also explain that while I am still doing business, I will most likely not be travelling to shows to vend. Family health matters require me to be closer to home these days.

Memorial stones. I've done quite a few in the past couple of weeks. I can't share photos of them all, since most are not given to their people yet. They are bittersweet but they are the reason I got into this business.
But on the heels of those projects came something truly fun. A client asked me to create a pair of images to etch on one glass as a gift for someone who got two MACHs with a pair of poodles. I can't share those exact designs either since they are a surprise. BUT, I transformed them into designs for a pair of CORGIS who are near and dear to my heart. Such a happy thought.

Look for us at the agility trial in Ridgefield WA this weekend (Aug. 25-26). Since we won't be vending at as many trials in the future, I'm putting everything on SALE to clean out my inventory. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I'm baaack!
July and August are always busy months with a couple of club/event special orders every year. Special orders are the heart of our business, too.
Many of you may have noticed that in the past 6 months we have not been at a lot of shows vending our wares. That is because of a few changes in our situation here at home. Health issues, family changes, and other things have meant more time needed to be spent at home. While we miss being out and about, we know things have to change. So we most likely won't be vending at shows but will concentrate on selling online and continued emphasis on special orders. Changes here on Facebook mean that I can revamp the business page to sell items here and we are talking about reviving the Etsy shop for Touchstone. Stay tuned in the coming months! Creating memorial stones for pets that have passed is always a bittersweet thing. We are sad that someone has lost a pet, but glad we can provide a memento that can help them recall the happy memories.

Another special project this month was creating a clock with custom artwork to celebrate a Bearded Collie's big Herding Championship title.

We were asked to dream up something really different and special to commemorate an agility achievement. This is a 10x10 mirror that has been etched on the back to create a unique framed memento.

Have a graphic you'd love to have etched on glassware? We can do that.

This design was created by a customer recently and she asked us to put it on stemless wine glasses. They turned out really nice.

She has given us permission to use it for others, so if you would like glasses like these, we can create them. Or contact us with your own artwork to be etched on glassware for you.
