Harley’s Haven Ranch is a farm livestock sanctuary for owner surrenders and assists others in need, and they will have volunteers in the building to talk about their programs and how you can get involved! PLUS $1 from every pint sold at between 4-7 will go back to them, so come support a great cause!

WE NEED HAY!!!

We’ve been down on donations lately and we need about $600 to get hay to every pasture for our sheep, goats, alpacas and donkeys. Please consider skipping your splurge of fancy coffe and donating that $10 towards these rescue furbabies. It’s because of caring people like you that we’re able to rescue these guys from their terrible situations!

Come drink a pint with a baby goat! Seven’s Gate Tap Room has invited us to join them for Harley’s Haven Ranch Pint Night! Tuesday May 23 4-7pm! A portion of pint sales will go towards helping maintain all of our animals on the ranch! So the more you drink, the more you donate!

Have too many roosters or live in city limits? We are doing another rooster pick up! Your boys will come live out their handsome lives free ranging on our sanctuary.

When: 22April Saturday 1:30-2pm
Where: Wag n Wash 1150 Baptist Rd Monument
What to bring: Your roo in a ventilated box I can take with. (This prevents loose roosters in parking lots) & a bag of All Flock or a $20 donation to supplement their free range diet.
Look for a blue ram pick up with aviation plates!

What a successful rescue transport day!!

In partnership with Rockin' Vets Ranch, we were able to save 4 alpacas, 1 pig, 1 goat, 2 bunnies and about 20 birds! It only took 16 hours, 400+ miles, $150+ in gas, a lost number of energy drinks and some gas station grub.

Thank you to those who were able to meet today and especially to those that donated towards the future care of the roughly 30 new lives on our sanctuaries. If you’d like to donate towards future rescue missions, our links are in the pics and be sure to check out our partner’s page too!

ROOSTER/ DRAKE PICK UP TOMORROW!!
***UPDATE: meet time in Thornton being pushed an hour to 12-12:20
My rescue partner Audrey Webb will be at Home Depot 16542 Washington St, Thornton, CO 80023 from 11-11:20 tomorrow morning to pick up roosters or drakes and donations. She will also be traveling through Loveland and Fort Collins.

Please have birds in cardboard boxes or other containers with breathing holes that can be taken on the transport. This is to avoid loose birds in the parking lot when transferring containers. Reminder- We also ask that each bird comes with a bag of All Flock or $20 donation to contribute to their free range diet. Audrey will be in a blue ram truck with a blue livestock trailer.

For a dollar a day, you could help feed these hungry goats 😢

No they never hungry actually 🤣. Our director won’t eat if they need hay. But on that note, WE NEED HAY AND FEED FUNDS!!

It does only take about a dollar a day for each animal to eat but with that, we have about a hundred animals. Goats, sheep, pigs, birds, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, etc.

Skip your fancy morning coffee that costs too much anyway and do a good deed!

WE TAKE ROOSTERS!!!
It’s that time of year again! You got chicks and ended up with too many roos or you’re in city limits? We will take them in to live out their lives on our sanctuary. They have houses and free range and we supplement with All Flock.
We meet for pick up at Big R in Colorado Springs on Constitution and Big R in Falcon on Hwy 24. Other arrangements can be made for further pick ups if needed. Send us a message to bring your boy onto our sanctuary.
We partner with Rockin' Vets Ranch who also takes in roosters too!

We started Harley’s Haven Ranch to provide a safe place for farm animals to live out their lives. What we found was the peace they brought in return. When you sit with an animal of any shape or size and they look into your soul, it makes our worries and daily anxiety fade away. You connect. If we are able to share that to others for even a moment, we would love to have others experience it with us. Most of us have been bounced around the country and the world to duty stations and never gotten the chance to sit in the middle of no where and feel secure. Here you can. Most have lived in the city and never had the chance to chill with an alpaca. Here you can.

Miss Tinkerbell from the auction has been renamed Darla! after a couple days of decompression, she let me pet her this morning and she closed her eyes and pushed her face into my hand. She then rolled around like a puppy! The farrier is scheduled and we are working on a partnership with the amazing folks at Apex College of Veterinary Technology to come treat any issues she or others on the ranch may have.

**Community Assistance**
A dear friend of our ranch and fellow rescuer of wolf hybrids and difficult-to-place dogs is seeking assistance from the community and we’d like to help! We are collecting bags of dog food and taking donations for dog food and vet care to help the dogs under her care and the dogs she’s trying to assist that recently lost their owner in a house fire. Every dog or hybrid in her care would have been euthanized if she didn’t have a kennel license and the heart full of patience for the misunderstood.
All donations are tax deductible!

Sue and Sally have accepted their new brother! Introducing Sam! He’s a BLM donkey that we partnered with Colorado Horse Rescue Network to pull from the auction that had the eye of a kill buyer. He came with his goat bestie we’ve named Nutty for now. Sam is still unsure about people but is very interested when Sue and Sally are demanding butt rubs. Welcome to the ranch handsome boy!
