Moving to Roxboro soon! Hopefully by the beginning of September! I will have a new service radius, 15 miles from Roxboro. Unknown specific last day of services at this time depending on the closing of both houses. (I’ll post the link to our home if you or someone you know is interested as soon as possible!)

It’s been an amazing 4.5 years doing services here in the Youngsville, Franklinton, and Wake Forest areas! I’ve loved watching your animals and working with you! I’ll still be in the area for my regular day job 😊

Only taking cats for a few months to ease back into pet sitting as I am caring for my baby as well as only being available 9am-6pm. I am finishing up with my last semester of school as well as doing a few days per week at my job. Once we get into a good routine and feel comfortable I will then start back with dogs doing visits and dog walking only. Housesitting has been discontinued.

I know some sitters after reading this announcement have decided to start their own businesses or just going away from Rover. If you are struggling to find a sitter in the near future on Rover, this is a reason why.

I’ve been getting my some requests for the holidays from previous clients the past few days. I am not available for the holidays this year as I am on maternity leave (still haven’t had my baby yet either, she’s taking her time apparently.)

I do not have any recommendations that I have personally used myself at this time. Most of the sitters I have recommended in the past have moved, are taking a break, or have stopped services.

The holidays do book up quick for sitters so reaching out in advance is the best that way you can also do your meet and greet and find the best sitter for you and your pets! 😊
