Shasta Flat-Coated Retrievers are bred to be true multipurpose dogs! They can participate in conformation competitions and compete in performance events, such as agility, all in the same weekend. They love to work, but they are very comfortable just hanging around the house too! Joyce is listed as a Breeder of Merit with the American Kennel Club (AKC), as she has demonstrated both a dedication to the Flat-Coated Retriever breed, as well as a commitment to the AKC community as a whole. What to expect when you acquire a puppy from Shasta Flat-Coated Retrievers:
Health screens are performed on both the sire and dam so you know that both of the puppy’s parents are healthy. We also provide a puppy health guarantee. We provide you with information about puppy socialization, training, exercise, feeding, immunizations, proper veterinary care, and responsible dog ownership. Each puppy has had its initial immunizations, and each is microchipped and registered with Home Again, a lost pet identification service. We provide a written bill of sale detailing the responsibilities of both the buyer and the seller. If you cannot keep one of our puppies, we will take the puppy back under any conditions or circumstances within seven days of when you take initial custody of the puppy.
