On today’s Frag Friday it’s all about the Goniopora.
Gonioporas are a Large Polyp Stony coral (LPS). They come in a variety of colors and they add a flowing aesthetic to your aquarium. They mainly come from Australia and indonesia and are considered an easy coral to care for. Gonioporas prefer a low to moderate lighting around 75-150 par. As for water flow they do better in moderate flow but not direct flow. Gonioporas are photosynthetic meaning they get most of their nutrients from the light, but feeding them can boost their growth. Gonioporas prefer liquid amino acids and dry foods like powdered plankton. Overall Gonioporas are a beautiful easy coral that truly makes your reef aquarium look amazing.
