🎓🐾 Huge congratulations to Sully on completing his 2-Week Manners at Home Board + Train program! 🥳

This amazing boy is a 1-year-old deaf boxer who was dumped on the street, likely because of his hearing impairment😔 He had no idea that his life was about to take a wonderful turn!Now, with some dedication and a lot of love, Sully is thriving in his forever home with CCT alumni, the Graham family. Sully LOVES other animals and he’s happily sharing his home with two canine sisters, doggie brother Tyrus, and a kitty🐱 friend!🌟 Sully is the 4th Boxer we’ve trained for the Grahams! 🤯

All Sully needed was a line of communication between him and his people— now has the skills he needs to be a well-behaved companion🤗 We’re excited to see him continue to grow, learn, and show just how much love he has to give🐶🩵

Seeing Sully’s transformation from a confused, abandoned pup to a confident, happy dog with a bright future fills our hearts with so much joy. His journey reminds us all that every dog deserves a chance, and with the right people by their side, they can overcome any challenge. Congrats again, Sully!🏅🎉

🎓 Congratulations Koda! 🎉

Our little snow angel, Koda, is a sweet 8-month-old doodle & she has officially graduated from our 2-week Manners at Home Board & Train program! Koda worked SO hard to build her confidence and tackle new challenges head-on. 💪

From mastering loose leash walking to learning how to make her skills even more reliable with the remote collar, Koda’s transformation has been incredible! We’re so proud of all the progress she’s made in such a short time. 🙌

It’s brutal out there this morning! 🥶

Winter is far from over so here’s a few things you can do to keep your pups safe and happy 🧣❄️

•Be prepared! Pay attention to the forecast and ensure you have critical supplies on hands
•Keep your dog active with indoor exercise and mental enrichment
•Salted roads and sidewalks are bigggg health hazards for your pet. Limit exposure, don’t allow your dog to lick the salt, and wipe their paws when they come inside! 🐾

🎓🐾 Big congrats to Reggie, our 5-month-old Great Dane, on officially graduating from his 2-week Puppy Start Right Board and Train program! 🎉

This sweet boy has come a long way in such a short time, working hard on building his confidence. Great Dane’s can be a little stubborn and suspicious when presented with new challenges so we made sure he’s ready for anything! He also learned important commands like place & down, and improved his potty training. We also discovered a big problem with his potty training issue was that he wasn’t tolerating his food, so we made a switch to help keep his tummy happy and healthy. 🍽️

Reggie’s progress has been amazing, and we’re so proud of the brave, strong, and smart pup he’s becoming. He made so many new friends, both human & furry! Can’t wait to see all the amazing things he’ll do next! 🐾

That’s a wrap on our first Shadow Program! 🎞️

I had the best time working with three dog enthusiasts, learning the ins and outs of how dogs learn, remote collar training, puppy socialization, behavior modification, appropriate greeting with people + dogs, and more! Students got tons of hands on experience working with our Board + Trains, personal dogs, and even had the opportunity to bring their own dog to join in on the fun🤗

On our last day, we met up with Trainer Kenzie and her Board + Train student for a group field trip to the Wheeler District to round out our curriculum 📚

🎓 Benson’s Graduation 🎓
We’re so proud of Benson for completing the 2-Week Manners at Home Board & Train Program! Over the past two weeks, Benson gained confidence in new environments, practicing his obedience skills in public spaces and learning how to stay calm around new sights and sounds where before he struggled to concentrate around distractions. Watching him grow in both confidence and discipline has been truly rewarding. Great job, Benson – we can’t wait to see you continue to shine! 🌟

🎓 Daisy’s Graduation 🎓
Daisy has truly blossomed in the 2-Week Manners at Home Board & Train Program! Her biggest challenge was finding structure, and with the help of the “place” skill, she learned to settle into a calm and focused state much faster than before. Loose leash walking, door manners, and obedience skills - Daisy now has the tools to manage her energy and make better choices in the home. We’re so proud of how far she’s come! Keep up the great work, Daisy! 🐾

Congratulations to Ollie on graduating from our 2-Week Puppy Start Right Board & Train program! 🎓🐾 Ollie was such a joy to work with, and he made incredible strides during his stay. Not only did he thrive in learning new skills, but he also showed a natural love for meeting new people, building confidence every step of the way. It’s been amazing to see him grow into a more self-assured and happy pup!

Whether it was learning his basic obedience or gaining confidence in new environments, Ollie showed us how eager he is to learn and explore. We can’t wait to see all the great things he’ll continue to accomplish as he moves forward, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come! He even got to meet Santa himself! ✨🐶🎅🏼🎄

Wishing a huge congratulations to Stuart, Solo, Ryder, and Lambeau on earning their AKC Community Canine titles!🎉

AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program! These four pups worked hard to demonstrate their fabulous manners and solid obedience skills in real-world settings around heavy distractions, proving themselves as responsible and well-behaved canine citizens 😊

We challenged these pups in stores, at parks, downtown urban areas, and outdoor patios and they NAILED it! Our final test was no easy feat— these guys had to maintain their composure at a busy playground where there were kids on scooters, parents pushing strollers, other dogs playing fetch off leash, and so much more. I couldn’t be prouder! 🥹

Please help us congratulate Roxie on graduating her Hybrid Rehabilitation program! 👏🏼

This brave and resilient girl underwent 3 virtual lessons plus a 2-Week Board + Train to tackle anxiety as well as some dog aggression + resource guarding 😅 Roxie’s journey hasn’t been the easiest— our feisty redhead often felt overwhelmed in new environments, struggled with being away from her owner, and bullied her fur siblings at home 👎🏻

With patience, consistency, and accountability Roxie was able to slow her brain down to achieve a calm state of mind 🧠 We focused on confidence building, decompression, and giving her outlets like frisbee to channel her energy in to productive activities! 🤗

With the help of demo dog Klaus, Roxie learned neutrality around new dogs (and that it’s okay to share toys sometimes!) 🤝🏼 We loved working with this sweet girl and her even sweeter owner! Great work ladies! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We’re so proud to announce that Frankie, our little doodle dynamo, has officially graduated from our 2-Week Puppy Start Right Board & Train Program! 🤩 From day one, Frankie demonstrated an impressive work ethic, always eager to learn and showing a natural confidence. Whether it was mastering basic commands or working through new confidence building challenges in public, Frankie approached every lesson with enthusiasm and determination. It’s clear that this little pup loves to learn and please 🫶💪

Frankie’s progress over the past two weeks has been remarkable! He has a fantastic recall for his age & loves brain challenging puzzles for mental stimulation. I couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come, and I’m excited to see what new challenges he’ll take on next. Vera, an 8-week old pittie rescue pup, has officially graduated from our 1-Week Puppy Start Right Board & Train Program! What an incredible journey it’s been! 😙

Throughout her training, she focused on building confidence through exposure and socialization, learning to navigate new environments and meet new friends (both human and animal) so the ease. 🐶🐱🐔

In addition to confidence building, she’s also started her essential obedience foundations, ensuring she has the tools to thrive in any situation. Vera’s curious & playful nature is now balanced with the calm and focus needed to practice her skills at home and in public for a well-mannered pup.

Congratulations Miss Toffey!! 🥳
Toffey recently graduated from our 2-Week Manners at Home Program. She is the sister of Pearl who graduated from CCT back in March! Their family wanted to get both sisters on the same page so they could work together 👯‍♀️

In the beginning, Toffey was a little unsure of new challenges. Her family also wanted a solid recall from her so she could accompany them on walks around their local park without the leash! Through dedication and hard work, she’s gained a newfound confidence, reliable obedience skill set, and is now on the same page as her sister 🤞🏼

It’s been a joy to watch her grow from a timid pup into a confident and well-behaved dog, ready to take on any adventure by Pearl’s side. Congratulations, Toffey, on this incredible milestone! 🤎🩵

Please help us in congratulating our new pal, Eddy, on completing his 2-Week Manners at Home Board & Train Program! 🤩

Eddy is a nine month old doodle-bop! 🤪
Eddy’s family lives on approximately five acres & having a solid recall was a big priority for them. They also wanted to ensure he was well-rounded in public to tag along to patio hangs & shopping trips! 🛍️

Introducing Eddy to the remote collar was the missing piece of the puzzle he needed to turn his listening ears on👂 & follow through with what his mom was asking him to do. He’s also more confident & settles down in public super easily with “calm” being his default state of mind 😴

Congratulations to our pal, Grayson!! Grayson recently completed a 3-Week Custom Board & Train 🥳

Grayson is approximately 8 years old! We nicknamed him “Uncle Grayson” since his mom is related to Maverick’s dad & Maverick was going through training at the same time 😆

Grayson’s biggest hurdle to overcome was dog reactivity. He would bark and lunge at dogs if they just looked at him 🫣 Once we had a good obedience foundation, we made it a point to practice neutrality with as many dogs as possible. His nephew pup Maverick alongside alumni dogs Ginger, Otis, and Pepper were all very helpful in aiding Grayson to overcome his reactivity!

To get Grayson used to being around other dogs, I would have Grayson and another dog on place together, then we would work on our skills while the other dog stayed on place, and then we would rotate so Grayson would have to stay on place while I practiced skills with the other dogs too. This really helped Grayson understand that other dogs are able to exist without being a threat to him! After three weeks of work, Grayson is so much calmer and happier!
