🎉NATIONAL PET PREPAREDENESS MONTH🎉

June is National Pet Preparedness Month. In light of COVID-19, along with hurricane season kicking off June 1st, and Wildfire season already underway in many parts of the country, many pets will be impacted.

PetSmart is launching its third annual pet food drive in stores across North America.

The food drive is designed to provide local animal welfare organizations with a stockpile of pet food to support the needs of pets in the care of our In-store Adoption Partners.

The best way to keep a pet safe during an emergency it's to prepare ahead of time.

By stocking up on dog and cat food necessities to help with the well-being of homeless pets, Adoption Partners will be ready to care for the pets in the event a disaster strikes. Whether it's a fire, an ice storm or a flood, natural disasters are frightening and often than expected. The best way to keep a pet safe during an emergency is to prepare ahead of time.

That's why I June 1st to June 30th during National preparedness month PetSmart stores will collect and donate dog and cat food to in-store adoption Partners across the USA and Canada.

If you have any open cat or dog food... cans or bags, you can donate at your local Yukon PetSmart.
