Shaving a double coated dog can cause a lot of problems. For the pup it can hinder them to control their body temperature, they can get sunburnt, Alopecia, severely matted and so on. If you are wanting to clip or shave to keep them cool please do research. Trimming to length is OK but clipping short or shaving is NOT recommended. If your groomer says ok instead of educating I would find another groomer. Because a groomer can ruin their coat in ONE groom.

Oh little Ham. He came to us from CO springs. The 1 groom we had to abort because he was so frightened. 2 groom dad have him a happy pill and we worked slow. 3rd groom was drug free and I hot lots of kisses and I know next time will be even better. I love my job.

Merry Christmas and happy NEW year to all. We will be closed Tomorrow Dec 22nd- Jan 2nd. While enjoying time with your family and friends please remember to take extra steps to keep your pets safe especially with this respiratory illness going around.
