Towels, Sheets & Blankets… Oh My! 🐾
Can you help? And share?
Because of construction delays and an urgent need from our local sheltering organizations, we are preparing the garage space at Gandolf Veterinary Surgery for MASH-style spay and neuter clinics for the Muskingum County Canine Adoption Center, Humane Society, and PAWS.
Our goal is to begin next week!
Thank you Straker Foundation and Muskingum County Commissioners for helping to make the sustainable long term version happen!
This initiative, spearheaded by Max’s Fund, is an emergency effort to help fill the gap left when SOS Veterinary Hospital closed in July due to staffing shortages.
With your help, we hope to spay and neuter more than 300 animals over the next two months, reducing pet overpopulation and keeping animals in our community from having to be transported to Columbus several days each week.
We need:
🧺 Bath towels (new or gently used)
🛏️ Flat sheets
🛋️ Large or small blankets
If you have extras, please drop them off at the man door of the garage at Gandolf Veterinary Surgery.
Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and will go directly toward supplies needed to make these clinics possible.

We are only working directly through County organizations at this time versus individuals for the surgery services. If you have a need, please contact the Muskingum County Canine Adoption Center, Humane Society, or PAWS directly.
For years I’ve been trying to find a way to help solve the local shortage of affordable spay and neuter services for the county. When the Columbus clinic that had been helping our community closed in July, the need became immediate. Together, we have an opportunity to make a real difference for animals and the people who care about them.
Thank you for helping us help them. ❤️🐾
