Minus some dirty looks from Magic 😂, we had a great experience at NC State Veterinary Ophthalmologist for their OFA eye testing!

All their eyes look perfect/normal! This was the last test we needed to get our CHIC Certifications!

Mara and I went out holiday shopping this evening! So grateful for this girl giving me my life back!

She is trained as a service dog to help mitigate ptsd symptoms, as well as alerts to high and low blood sugars changes well before I feel them.

Tjmaxx is pet friendly so she was able to be an unvested “pet” and was all about getting all the pets from kids! 🐩 🐕‍🦺

After 3 hours of shoppining, she’s ready to couch potato again!

Went through some old photo albums last night and had to share.

Did you know I started training dogs at 11 years old?! My Border Collie Astro and I had won our first trick show when I was 13 and we began agility classes.

By 15 I was holding weekly training classes for people in my neighborhood and had been hired by two teachers at my high school to help them train their dogs!

I believe I’m about 15/16 in these pics. The long coated Border Collie is Astro and the short coat is Skye. Ally is the golden mix catching the frisbee. 🐶 🐶

It wasn’t until I was an adult, I learned I’m highly allergic to dogs 😂 Looking back it makes sense since I would literally sneeze at least 20 times every morning!

When I wanted a dog as an adult, I decided to look for one that wouldn’t bother my allergies. And that’s how my love for poodles began…🐩
