We like to be efficient. In and out in less than 15 minutes. 3 wood ducks and a story.

Took Tipsy and Bash to an easy public walk in spot. Was expecting young dog bloopers and chaos. But it couldn't have worked out better. Tipsy and Bash each got their first retrieves on a 'pair of loaners ' that I doubled up on. Third was a single that I winged and made it to the opposite bank. Went over with both pups and watched them work it out. Once they found it tucked in the grass, the chase was on!

Got a cool update from Miss Victoria in New York! As much as we love to see our pups working in the field, she does a great job building some unique skills into her labs. Bash is her second pup from us and with any luck, he has a strong future in some niché environments. Bash is out of SHR Cleo JH WC and HR Amos SH '25

A little opening weekend action for Amos and Tipsy. Tried a lake on Saturday and scratched a few including a surprise gadwall. Took the mile walk back to a woody hole on the river today and got our 3 wood ducks in 8 minutes.

Took a quick break from the dogs to travel down to SC and watch our middle daughter become a soldier. Proud of ya kiddo

Amos was ready to be done with hunt test season and get into hunting season! We got cut off by another group in a different field, but kudos to them for getting on the birds. Sounds like they will have a lot to clean! We still made the best of it and the crockpot smells are always worth it!

While the rest of the pack went and played in the chaos we love to call Game Fair, Amos went to work. Budd took him out to the Vikingland Master test to run with the big dogs. Well, they crushed it!! Amos is officially 1 for 1 in his AKC Master debut! This team continues to do great things and we look forward to the next test.
