Currently looking to hire a feeder/ barn hand for our farm of 13 +/- horses. This would be for morning and evening chores.
Duties include: stall mucking and bedding, feed and water, handling horses for turnout, as well as general observation for injuries, missing shoes or changes
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Applicant should have previous equine handling experience, however we will train the right person. We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, and will provide optimal care for the well-loved horses in our easygoing environment.

Mary’s Acres Equestrian Centre is looking for a qualified, dependable and motivated individual to assist with barn duties weekdays in the evening and occasional weekends.

Daily job duties would include feeding, turn out and mucking of approximately 15 stalls. Daily cleaning and filling of indoor and outdoor water tubs, haying in stalls and fields, sweeping, and general barn cleaning/maintenance. Must have previous experience working with horses/cleaning stalls. Must be RELIABLE and able to come out in all weather conditions to work. Must be able to physically lift 50lbs and fit enough to clean 15+ stalls. 18 and older only! Working students welcome to apply.

We are gearing up to host our first clinic of the year, and we are super excited to have Jodi Van Sprang as our clinician.

Ride times will be 9:00am-4:00pm all three days. Call 814-380-7780 or email [email protected] to register.

Bring a chair and a packed lunch. Drinks will be provided.

If a stall is needed the fee is $10.00 per day. Auditors are $25.00 per day.

Our beautiful Aletta is due to foal, she’s getting close so we decided it’s contest time. Tell us what day you think the baby will arrive the person who get the closest to the day or on the day will win a FREE one hour riding lesson!!! She will be at 340 days gestation on Mother’s Day ❤️
