Hi, my name is Axel and I am a ~4 months old, 21 lbs mixed breed little boy with short super soft fur (little shedding so far!). I will have a little scar around my neck where my previous owners left me tied up, but I am all healed up and ready to run and play (my activity level is moderate). I take treats gently and have not found one I don’t like! I am getting to the house trained stage and don’t mind the crate. I am good on walks, I don’t pull, but remember, I am still a puppy, so my attention span is constantly changing. I am good with kids and want to play with other dogs and the cat, if she’d let me! I am neutered, micro-chipped and current on all my shots. I love to go for walks, snuggle on the couch and give kisses!

Axel went for an incision check up today. The vet said everything looked good. There should be minimal scaring. His hair is already starting to grow back. I can’t believe how much better his neck looks! Great job by the vets at Gaston low cost spay / neuter clinic.

Axel got his drain removed today. The vet said everything looked good. He goes back next week for another check up.

Axel is resting today. He is doing much better now that the Vets from Gaston Low Cost Spay and Neuter clinic have sewn up his neck and put in a drain. In 1 week, the drain will come out. In 2 weeks, he will go back to have incision checked. Axel will make a full recovery. He will more than likely have a scar around his neck that will be covered by his hair. Axel is the sweetest puppy!
