Seeing those pictures is heartbreaking.
So many animals are left out or abandoned.

If you are living in small lanes (hẻm), or your apartment complex is friendly enough, please kindly leave a small bowl of water or dry food right in front of your door for stray and lost animals.

PS: Tip to keep ants away from the food bowl outside: Create a moat around the bowl. Take a larger bowl/tray and put the food bowl in the middle. Fill the larger bowl with about a centimetre of water, the ants will not cross it.

Important tips to prepare in case you are being taken to quarantine camp/hospital.

*PS: If your dog is unfriendly and has to stay home after you leave, put a harness on and attach a leash on the harness so when people from boarding place comes, they can easily walk your dog out.
Your harness must be well fitted and good quality to prevent your dog from slipping through it and escaping.

Many of our page followers are aware there were AGAIN pet poisonings on the "numbered streets" in Thao Dien on the previous weekend. This is unfortunately not the first time this has happened 😞.

Below is an impassioned request from the owner of poor Peanut who lost his life on Sunday PLEASE take a few minutes to read and join the petition.

On Sunday June 14th, my dog, my baby Peanut along with 5 other beloved pets have been killed by some heartless and cruel person. I apologise for my language, but I cannot find any other words to describe the person who could do such a horrid act.
This can be no coincidence as we know for a fact from our vet that Peanut was poisoned with a substance which specifically targets dogs & cats (not even rat poison). This is not the first time that such cruelty happens. This is what happened 4 years ago to 11+ dogs!!! They had the same symptoms and it occurred in the same area. That is only to name a major crime. From time to time, this still happens to other dog lovers in the area. So yes, this is a CRIMINAL ACT.

What would have been different if the PEOPLE even cared? No pet and no owner should have to live in such fear and despair. And no person should get away with taking lives.

👉 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲

There are quite some different colours, materials, widths, sizes, and designs of dog collars that can make you feel overwhelmed. For daily use, there are some common collars which we want to show you.

- Standard collars (a.k.a flat collars) are by far the most common. These collars are easy to put on and take off and can be as simple or as fashionable as you please. Standard collars are generally nylon other materials and come with plastic or metal buckles.

A standard collar is best used for dogs who don’t pull, can be off-leash, or just need something to hold their name tags. If your dog is a dedicated puller, however, a front-clip control harness is a better choice for walks and training, until she learns how reinforcing it is to stay close to you.

- Soft slip collars which will shrink and tighten when the dog pulling in force but prevent choking and injuries to the neck. The soft neoprene padded is comfortable and will not rub your dog's skin.

* 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫

Before choosing any type or design, it is important to know what size your dog's neck is. The easiest way to measure your dog's neck size is with a flexible measuring tape.

1. Take the shoestring or measuring tape and wrap it around your dog's neck between the ears and the collar bone, where she will wear the collar. Add about 2cm to this measurement, and you have your dog's neck size.

2. When you put your dog's collar on, you should be able to fit two fingers underneath, between your dog's neck and the collar. You want the collar to be tight enough that it won't slip over your dog's head, but loose enough that it won't choke or strangle your dog.
