My Goal
Hi, My name is Emily. I am starting a small, privately run, dog walking and pet service. I have been an animal lover my entire life and working with animals is something I have always wanted t0 achieve. I have dogs, cats, mice and fish of my own as well as a wealth of experience with horses.
I am currently working in the adult care sector which means I am fully DBS checked and very reliable and trustworthy. I am hoping to do my dog walking business along side my current support work.
MY STORY
Having always had a passion for animals, I knew from an early age that I wanted to make a career out of it. I completed an apprenticeship in Horse care and Management and worked on a variety of yards before having an accident at work forcing me to give up full time yard work. I moved into adult care as this is another passion of mine. Earlier this year I had the emotional blow of being diagnosed with cervical cancer at the young age of 26. I have been fortunate enough that this was caught at an early stage meaning I could have a hysterectomy to remove all the cancer. I am now almost 100% recovered but this experience has taught me that life is very short and we must do what we love at every chance we get. I don’t know about you but my animals are my absolute life and mean the world to me! Now seems like the perfect time to begin building my dog walking business and to provide a level of care and love I would want for my own pets. I hope to give you and your furry loved ones a safe, reliable and fun service you will all benefit from.
