This was so fun showing a taller good rider what it feels like to ride a 13.1hh round little Haflinger Gypsy cross… aka me, Lady Nadira 😂 he was such a good sport and I took good care of him even though he called me a cow 😂 enjoy this clip as I show him I have good brakes when I felt him go off balance a little cause of my roundness

Gave a friend a ride today who’s 5’11 and rides horses ba****ck all the time. 15-18hh. I was a bit different of a ride for him being 13.1hh and wide! 😂 we all had a good laugh. Stephan was a good sport. 😉 but this goes to show that with gypsies and haflingers or a cross of them like me, 13.1hh picks up taller peoples legs just fine!

Place. Closer to the beach now up in the mountains. Explored a little bit of the area today. So relaxing ! Aussies love it here too

Love the meadowbrooke cart! The first true off-road vehicle so we had fun today doing lots of water crossings since we don’t get water very often here

Thunderstorm’s were predicted today. Didn’t happen. We rarely see them here but when we do it’s exciting! Rather see them now than in July/august which we have on rare occasions cause now it’s wet and green. Come end of summer it’s dry and lightening strikes cause way too many fires

Vet called. The iV fluids did their job and got the gut sounds back and intestines moving on me. I did some mushy small piles but they want to keep me another 24 hours for observation to make sure i produce more normal manure. I do hate being in the stall he said and they put me in there small grass pasture and I’m happily grazing out there.

Glad I went with my gut to hospitalize her for fluids. 9 out of 10 times it works.

Keep me in your thoughts tonight. I’ve been hospitalized at the clinic in ICU getting Iv fluids to treat impaction colic. I’m currently staying at the Equine Center in San Luis Obispo.
