Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. Tomorrow I'm going to try to go out and take some pictures. I finally graduated and am heading to Columbus State to further my knowledge in photography. I'm really looking for any new photoshoots at any given point in time if anyone is interested. I know I really want to get into the pregnancy and newborn pictures and do some couple work. If anyone knows anyone it'd be nice to get the word out. I really thank everyone who has supported me and got me so far. I keep thinking back to past photo shoots and I was always so happy to be doing them. I really enjoy my photography and it's nice to see how people react to my photos and see what they think. My photography isn't something I think you can teach. I think it honestly requires a skill, not so much to take the pictures but to spot them when the opportunity is perfect. I've learned a lot to sit and wait and the pictures will come to you and to be patient. Photography really helps to ease my mind and to remind me about what it means to be happy in what you do. I really hope one day I can survive off my photography. I want to be able to make a small studio and to have clients. But for now, thank you everyone who has took a chance on a beginner, I hope in the future to hear from you again for pictures you need.

Ok. Here's the thing parents. I'm wanting to get out and do baby and kid pictures. So! $25 for a picture session for the kids! These are usually around $50!! Schedule a session for this May!! Don't miss the sale!

I love photography for many reasons. But mainly because it's the beauty we often fail to see. A picture really can say 1,000 and more words. From the rocks found underground to the birds in the sky. Pictures are often made to see beauty. But what about the ugly? What about the truth we fail to see? You can often find pictures of trash, unrecycled material, and more. It shows the ugly in something once beautiful.

This is a post I don't wish to make but feel like it needs to be said. If I agree to payments, it's because I trust you. I take my photography serious but I understand in certain situations it's hard to have the money for pictures that I feel everyone should have.
Because of past experience, Imagine Beauty Photography will no longer except payments. Imagine Beauty's prices are the minimum of other photographers so hopefully that will give everyone a chance. Sorry for any inconvience but, I want this business taken seriously. This is not just a hobby for me, it's a career and a dream. I don't mean to sound unkind or unforgiving. It's business.

So the idea is I need a new photography name. A more professional name. I don't want to use my name though. Josie's Photography has no ring to it.
