2023 Completed
This year for me has had some amazing moments, raising my first litter was definitely one of the best, the planning, time, expenses, sleep loss and stress that went into it was absolutely exhausting but so worth it and I will remember it forever.
Ive had some amazing clients this year too, many who have become friends whom I’m so thankful for. Im also thankful to my friends and family who have supported me throughout all the ups and downs this year has thrown, you know who you are!
It’s important to concentrate on the good times to be able to grow and manifest more of what you want but it’s also important not to forget the struggles and realise why they happened and learn how to avoid them again.
I’ve built relationships with some amazing people this year while also dealing with some very toxic ones. Removing those individuals has probably been more important for my growth than building new relationships. This industry is hard and there are many who make it even harder, don’t be that person, we need to support one another! Going forward I urge anyone to keep those supportive people close to you but don’t be scared of doing what’s best for you.
I hope 2024 can be better for everyone 🫶🏼
I will for sure make mine better for me 💪🏼
Happy new year guys 💜
The festive season is my favourite time of the year to expose my young dogs and do some top up work with my adults.

If the dog does not perform well, living a good life, being well-fed, and with social interactions, the
training system is flawed

The spark is back ⚡️
Sometimes dogs come into your life unexpectedly.
I never intended on keeping a puppy from Freyja’s litter and Una didn’t even show me anything overly special compared to some of the other puppies in the litter, but my heart couldn’t let her go and I’m so grateful for that.
She’s everything I’ve been looking for and everything I needed 🧡
For this that don’t know, Una was born lifeless, she had a difficult birth and inhaled a lot of blood which filled her lungs. I was advised not to intervene but I could absolutely not do that, it took me 10 long minutes to get her breathing and I can’t imagine what my life would be like now if I hadn’t have done that.
Trust your instincts - always 🧡
5th shaping session 😍
In just a few sessions you can see the enthusiasm and drive to work increase massively as the puppy learns how to think for herself.
This is my favourite part of dog training and all I’ve done is sit on a chair and say yes 😆but to watch the puppy develop her thinking skills so quickly for me is super rewarding.

Instagram wouldn’t let me post the entire video but it’s much the same.
3rd time free shaping! No marker word loading before hand either.
The task is standing on the box which is situated purposely away from me (the keeper of resources) to teach the puppy to learn to figure things out on her own.
This is the power of operant learning.
I don’t always jackpot at the end either, the timing was just right today, I like to keep that spontaneous, sometimes I leave the session on a tiny bit of food as a reward to encourage a hunger to work but today the puppy gave me more than she ever has so I left it there as a great win.
Imagine if this pup was handfeed every meal too, she’d just finished playing with her littermates who are creating an awesome distraction in the back 🤣
It’s also raining very heavily which she has never experienced.
Not bad for 7 weeks 👀

FREYJA IS CONFIRMED PREGNANT 🎉🎉
Freyja was scanned today and is having at least 9 puppies!
I’m so excited to see how Freyja produces with Daleer Enzo aka BAM BAM 💪🏼 and I can’t wait to see how the linebreed on Kody vom Wolfsfriede takes 😍
There should be some very special puppies 🙌🏼
If youde like to reserve a pup please pm me, only the best homes apply, pet homes are considered but they must be active and willing to put in the work. 🐾
The value of a stable pack 🐾
Just under 1 week ago I took the first half of this video which is Athena’s first meet with my dogs.
Athena has nerve and frustration based reactivity which stems initially through genetics paired with no socialisation with other adult stable dogs.
Her owner from day 1 couldn’t socialise her properly as she has always wanted to bark and bite other dogs and it’s incredibly hard to find dogs suitable to socialise a puppy with.
I’ve done lots of neutrality and engagement work with Athena but a massive part of her training was allowing her to be free with my dogs so she could learn how to socialise and understand how to communicate.
They have taught her so much and it just goes to show that a stable pack can teach a puppy so much and it’s amazing how they can also communicate with her in a healthy balanced way, which is clear from the second video, creates a lovely confident puppy.
Another note to take from this is, this is living proof that balanced training works, a dog’s natural instinct is to communicate in a balanced way and it certainly does not create ‘learnt helpless’ or ‘fear’.
Odin 🐾
Odin was rescued from Dogs trust a few years back and over time, has developed fear and frustration based reactivity towards dogs.
Today Odin has received the communication he required to begin to learn how to deal with dogs present in a more neutral, less stressful manor.
A long road ahead for total behaviour modification but a great session laying the foundations and starting the process 🐾
If you need help with your reactive dog, don’t hesitate to message us, your dog is not a lost cause!
Zhivah’s journey 🐾
Zhivah initially came to me quite some time ago to address severe dog reactivity. Zhivah was experiencing fear and frustration when faced with new dogs.
Zhivah quickly made a great turn around and has been pretty neutral for a quite some time.
Zhivah joined me on a 2 week residential to sharpen up her obedience inclusive of e collar conditioning to allow her lifelong freedom.
The after videos are of our training session today, working on recall, focus, downstays and off lead heel under distractions 🙌
With the correct communication, anything is possible!
Clicker Training 🐾
I’ve recently been sent a few posts which are meant to be educational where the trainer is using the clicker incorrectly. 🚫
I decided to do a quick educational post of my own to show anyone who has been confused by this how a clicker should actually be used.
A clicker is a marker, just like you may use yes or good boy/girl, it’s used to mark WANTED behaviours. It’s designed as an emotionless reward marker as our voices will sound different every time we speak to our dogs and as we know, consistency is 🔑.
The clicker isn’t designed to grab your dogs attention, the dogs name should do that, unless you want your dogs name or recall cue to be the sound of a clicker 🤷🏼♀️
Video featuring Ava who I did clicker train but she hasn’t actually heard one in over a year. I personally prefer verbal markers as I always forget clickers 🤦🏼♀️
Ps, this video was very hard to film as Ava is unwilling to disengage with me as she thinks we’re working after hearing a clicker 😂
Hope this clears things up for a few of you! 🐾
