(3)

We are two volunteers who are rescuing stray and feral cats, provide them with veterinary care and help them find their furever homes. We are NOT a charity, we don't collect or ask for donations. We use our own, personal funds to help cats that we come across. They are all checked and assessed by a vet at Just Cats Veterinary Clinic. They are fully vaccinated and tested for feline leukaemia and ai

ds, treated for worms, ear mites, flea and neutered/spayed. We are trying to find suitable homes for them. If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends, that involves an adoption fee of 80-100 Euro depending on the treatment involved that they needed. All our cats will come with receipts from the vet that states what treatment they received. Adoption procedure will include the option to meet the cat in our home, and a home check where we make sure that the cat suits the household and vice versa. For example we never recommend a nervous, shy cat to a family where there are young children.

Hi, everyone,

I’m here to ask for a little help. As you may know, I have 6 long term fosters with various ongoing health problems. Most of the time I’m able to manage the vet bills myself, but this month I had two very unwell kitties, Doodles, who needed an operation, and now Sinead, who is currently hospitalised at Terenure Veterinary Hospital. She’s been in their care for the last five days with very bad colitis. They had to do a lot of tests and x-rays to figure out why she’s so poorly, also she’s been on the drip and medication for days. The bill at this stage is too big for me to manage on my own, and I want Sinead to get well and recover. It’s been a rough year with many sick cats. Please help, if you can. All you need to do is phone Terenure Veterinary Hospital ( ) at (01) 455 5362 and ask staff to take your donation over the phone, they’ll be happy to do that. Let them know it’s for Little Sinéad’s vet bill. Thank you so much, I desperately need help.

Love,

Linda

❤️SAMSON❤️

Good morning! 🥰

I’d like to thank everyone who donated to Furry Friends after Tigie’s passing, your kindness was so heartwarming! €170 came together thanks to your donations and I was able to pay €250 today, still owing €400 to Terenure Vets.

Sooo, Samson. He’s ten now, and about a month ago I took him to his senior health check. His bloods came back indicating a tumour. The vet repeated the blood test just in case but the same results came back the second time too, unfortunately.
Sam’s scheduled in for a scan next week to see where the tumour is. The scan will cost €300, and, as always, I’d like to ask you to make a donation either at Terenure Veterinary Clinic, or to Furry Friend’s Rehoming. Even the smallest amount is a huge help.
Please keep your fingers crossed for Samson.

The phone number for Terenure Vet is (01) 455 5362, the account name is Linda Kugyelka.

Mississippi (l) and her brother Nebraska 😻 These stunners were surrendered last week through no fault of their own. Mississippi is around 9 months old, her brother is around 6 months old. They can go together or separately, it's just that the whirlwind that is Nebraska rarely stands still for a photo!! He is full of confidence, fun and love ❤️ He is in foster with other cats and a dog and gets on well with all. He will suit any home. Mississippi is a little more shy, and will need a little time to trust you, but once she does, she loves a good cuddle ❤️ Quieter than her brother, but can be led astray as evidenced by her brother climbing to the top of kitchen presses and Mississippi following him 🙈 Both kittens will be fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped before homing 😊

🌈💔TIGER LILY💔🌈

Hi, Everyone,

I have some very sad news to share.
Tiger Lily, one of my Furry Friends Rehoming babies, passed away last night due to liver failure.
Her illness progressed very fast and even though the wonderful team at Terenure Vets tried everything to make her better, sadly Tigie didn’t get better, so I had to make the sad decision of letting her walk across Rainbow Bridge.
Rest in peace, Sweetheart.
I’m so heartbroken. Tigie was a shy, nervous girl, but such a ray of sunshine!
Her favorite game was to chase my feet under the blanket and pounce. We used to have great fun.
I would like to thank everyone for making donations towards Loopy’s bill, €320 came together thanks to your kindness and generosity and I was able to pay her bill.
I have another bill for poor little Tigie.

If you feel like making a donation, even a very small one, I’d be so thankful to you.

You can call Terenure Vet and credit Linda Kugyelka’s account, let them know it’s for Tiger.

Alternatively you can make a donation via Revolut, my details are the following:

Posting for Austeja

Hi, our cat has been missing for a week now. She is a white and grey Siamese cat. We moved to a Moy Glas View, Lucan over a month ago and she got out and hasn’t come back. It is completely out of character for her not to come home after 24 hours so a week is a very long stretch. She is 4 1/2 years old and has a healed cut on one of her ears.

UPDATE ON ❤️ LOOPY❤️

Hi, everyone! Loopy says, thanks so much for everyone who donated and shared the fundraising post!
So far 100 Eruro’s been donated to Furry Friends Rehoming and I was able to pay some of the bill at Terenure Vet.
Please, if you have a few spare coins, consider donating — there’s no such a thing as too little, even €1 is a huge help, because if everyone donated just €1 we’d be able to pay our bill in full and probably even have some to spare for the next kitty and the next bill.
Thanks so much for all your kindness.
Loopy is still limping but she seems more comfortable. I’ll keep an eye on her progress ❤️

❤️LOOPY❤️

Hello, everyone! It’s Linda here. ☺️
I’m here to ask for a bit of help.
In the last couple of months I was very busy with vet trips, the Furry Friends Rehoming kitties needed a lot of vet care.
I mostly managed paying the bills on my own and lately with the help of my amazing friends, but the bills keep growing and we need extra help, so the kitties still in my care can get the vet care they need.
Poor Loopy is the latest unwell kitty, she’s nine years old with very painful arthritis. Her current bill at Terenure Vet is at €524. She had X-rays taken and needed different drugs/medication.
If you would like to help with her bill, please consider calling Terenure Vet at (01) 455 5362 where you can donate to Linda Kugyelka’s account, please let them know it’s for Loopy. Alternatively you can send a donation via Revolut to https://revolut.me/melindjyto, or via bank transfer:

Thank you so much! I’ll post an update on Loopy in the next couple of days ❤️❤️❤️

CAT CHAT

Sam: “One more time; what is our motto, Felix?”
Felix: “We kitty, we pretty, we step on titty!”
Sam: “No, the other one that starts with ‘What do we want?’.”
Felix: “Tuna!”
Sam: “And...?”
Felix: “Roast chicken!”
Sam: “A forever home, ye dope! So what do we want?”
Felix: “Tuna! Roast chicken! Forever home!”
Sam: “And when do we want it?”
Felix: “Yesterday!”
Sam: “Why yesterday?”
Felix: “Because it starts with a ‘yes’.”

Sam and Felix are a pair of affectionate, bonded brothers who would love a special forever home. Sam is deaf and Felix has a tendency to over-groom when anxious. They need an exclusively indoor, quiet adult home without other pets. They’ve been through a lot of stress for the past year so they are in need of lots of love, cuddles and playtime with someone patient who has experience with cats whose been through trauma. Sam and Felix are both neutered, tested negative to FIV and FeLV, microchipped and registered, fully vaccinated, treated for parasites. Sam is eight and a half years old, Felix is seven. Please contact Furry Friends Rehoming if you would love two gentle, purring biscuit-makers full of love and snuggles. Home check and adoption donation applies.

Hi, everyone, it’s Linda here!

I haven’t been very active on the page since my little Lucy walked over the Rainbow Bridge last September. I needed a bit of time to myself, although I really missed our lovely and supportive little community.

I’m back now and I’m here to ask a favour (already, yes!). 😅

Me and Emma separated a over a year ago but remained friends.
Unfortunately very recently she found herself in a difficult and stressful situation; her two boys, Felix and Sam, will need a fosterer urgently. Emma needs to find a new place to live where she can take the boys with her but at the moment she’s very stuck. She’s done so much to help cats and humans over the years and now she needs a bit of help herself and we hope someone will be able to offer indoor foster care for Sam and Felix. Emma will provide food, litter and vet care for her boys. They’re shy at first but once they settle, they’re absolute love bugs who love to cuddle and play and will purr beautifully into your ear when you need it the most. Please contact us via the page and send us a message if you can help.

Lots of love to you all,

Linda and Emma
