Truevine Nebelungs We're a small cattery for champion pedigree GCCF and TICA registered Nebelung cats based in Shetland! Our Cats:

SGCA Evgeniya's Xenia of Truevine, aka Xenia.

She loves face kisses and cuddles, she loves other cats and people, and she is a sweet natured cat. QGCA Brumeux Eva of Truevine, aka Eva. Eva is a neutered female, and she loves to perch on shoulders, likes to be carried about, and is gentle and good natured. She is a motherly type but also fun loving. TGCA Brumeux Brindie is one of our two brothers. He has a personality all his own, and is very

much the cat around whom.everything revolves here at Truevine. Brindie likes lap cuddles, and will sit on a lap for hours. He loves to play with feathery toys, and he loves his brother Oshie. SGCA Brumeux Oscian, aka Oshie, is the other half of our pair of boys. Oshie is an incredibly patient cat, the brightest of all our cats. He likes to leap onto a person's back and ride around up there taking in the view. He loves his brother, and the two of them are like an old married couple. GCCF MQ Brumeux Le Dieu Bleu aka 'Ovin' - Our cattery's resident stud. Ovin was earmarked from an early age by us (we have the benefit of having photographed all of Brumeux's kittens) because of his lovely personality, amazingly thick and silky fur and his 'sparkle factor'. Ovin continues his early trend and has become a firm friend of all of the household. He is Xenia's best buddy and attended the birth of his first kittens with her, grooming and calming her during the labour.

Guess who turned 13 today! Brumeux Brindie and Oscian! Their litter was the first UK Nebelung litter. They were born here in Shetland, in Mossbank. Thinking today of their sister Penny, and departed brother Bashira and sister Drou.

Today 6 years ago Bea had given birth to 6 little floofy kittens. Now she is neutered and enjoying her best life. :) She is nearly 8 but still as boisterous as ever!

Turned my head for a second, turned back to find Dreda licking a mustard mixture from my plate....now googling "can cats eat mustard?" Thankfully she had two licks and it was diluted but I never thought she would want it! 🤣 She will be fine, but 0/10 do not recommend letting cats be near mustard as they might decide they like it. 🤦‍♂️

Today Yannaël has learned an important life lesson. Some sky raisins are spicy ones, some are not. 🐝🐝 I rescued 2 bees from her, the third one stung her right paw and it is a bit swollen now. That has not stopped her, but she is being more careful about what she catches!

Our new enclosure is finally done for the cats! We had someone build it for us who knew more about Shetland winds and weather. Here are the cats enjoying their first time outside in our new home! (Apologies for the slight wobble, my phone has been dropped too many times and the focus is not always happy!)

Our new enclosure is finally done for the cats! We had someone build it for us who knew more about Shetland winds and weather. Here are the cats enjoying their first time outside in our new home! (Apologies for the slight wobble, my phone has been dropped too many times and the focus is not always happy!)

After Oshie had his turn everyone else had a go. The squeaky mice are a big hit as well!

It is not all cuteness with Brindie and Oshie- Oshie has household dibs of first go on any new things, and he made sure Brindie remembered that he has to wait his turn in the ball pit! 🤣

Jac is learning words and the ways of being a Truevine cat from all our naughty Nebelungs. 🤣 Today he learned "Drink" as a word!

This is neighbour cat Fudge he comes for a visit most days!

The younger cats are all into nest building. Mina has a nice nest going here. :)

We're doing a bit of DIY today, it is very noisy. The cats all respond differently, but we give them a warning by announcing "Hoover! Hoover!" whenever there will be a loud noise like a hoover. We do this so the scared ones can go away before the noise starts. You can see Dreda (Truevine Aethyldreda) does not care- lap cuddles are paramount!

Oshie and Brindie, still sharing everything as if their lives depend on it, 11 years on. :) They are each the only cat the other will let be this close. Not all littermates get on like this, but these two do. ❤️
