UPDATE: All our products are now painted with antimicrobial powder coating - Sterilcoat AM. In tests the powder coating reduced the activity of a wide range of bacterias, viruses and fungal pathogens (including MRSA, E-coli, Listeria & Salmonella) by over 99%. This is a useful weapon in the fight against hospital-acquired infections. See below for Sterilcoat’s test results:

UPDATE: We now supply some of the largest NHS Trusts with their cylinder storage requirements and we also supply many vets, dentists, ambulance stations and British Red Cross branches. We have also worked with medical supply companies to design various cylinder storage systems to be used in their fleet of oxygen cylinder delivery vans.

Our products can be used for storing all the different sizes of medical cylinders. Our containers can also reduce the problems associated with medical gas storage, as they provide a fixed, focal point for staff when cylinders are required for use, as well as a neat solution to the hazards that free-standing cylinders can create for both users and passersby.

We've recently designed and manufactured two large cylinder racks to hold 50 x BA kits for a safety training centre. We have also designed and manufactured cylinder containers and restraints for a fleet of medical delivery vans and also containers to be used on ships.

200 Tubes Cylinder Holder

We were contacted by Nottingham University who were building a new food research facility. They required racked containers to hold up to 240 “tubes” that the crops and plants would grow in. These tubes would be lifted in and out of the containers by robot automated forklifts so precision was very important.
Working with the University we came up with a design that had the required strength along with the flexibility to alter the layout if so required.
The customer was very happy with the results and sent us some pictures of the racking in use:
