9/11 SEPTEMBER 11 TRIBUTE VIDEO AMAZING GRACE
Today is the 15th Anniversary of 9/11, a day that changed America forever. Not only was it the worst attack on American soil, but the start of a war against the terrorists who were responsible. It involved the worst fatalities of 1st responders in one day, 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 8 EMT s. Close to a total of 3000 people killed. I will never forget this day and how it brought Americans together. Below is what I was doing on this day when everything changed.
I was working for the State after retiring from the PD and was at home getting ready for work. I saw it on the news, but had to leave for work before I knew what was going on. I stopped at a McDonald's in Fountain Hills for coffee and the news was on and all the people were glued to the T.V. that's when I found out it was a terrorist attack. I was shocked by what I saw and never encountered anything like this in my 20+ yrs in law enforcement.
