Looking back over 2024 and it has been a welcomed rollercoaster, there are no rewards without risk!

There were times when we wondered if a gap in our calendar would be filled and on one occasion it wasn't, WE SURVIVED and made some beautiful memories on the East Coast, Northumberland Coast and the Lake District.

This is what 2024 looked like for our small business:

We provided our home and pet sitting services on 29 occasions this year.

The 29 bookings were from 18 different households.

The majority of our clients are in the Berkshire area, a lot of our work comes from recommendation's. This has helped us branch out to the Cotswolds, the Lake District, Hornsea, York and our wonderful home town of Huddersfield.

In total we have looked after 33 dogs of various sizes and breeds, a bearded dragon, a tortoise, hens, geese, ducks, guinea pigs and 3 cats.

We were also able to provide our additional services, clearing a garden of all it's weeds, cut back overgrown trees and bushes. Sanded and painted an outdoor porch, mowed lawns and refurbished side tables and a coffee table.

We are so thankful to our clients, past and present. Our family and friends, you are also appreciated with your shares, likes, comments and recommendations.

90% of our bookings have come from recommendations which fills us with gratitude and increases our confidence, being a small business can be daunting at times.

2025 is going to be cracking and we are absolutely chuffed to bits that our diary is 80% full, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Little Abby loves her walks but coming from South Africa the cold definitely stops her in her tracks, we know she can walk further as she was doing it in the summer!

We wondered how we could comfortably help her get out on her walk which led us to purchase this, she loved it and even had her after walk zoomies even though she was carried 😂

The carrier will come in handy for several of our smaller clients, they love a walk but they either can't get very far or don't want to. We have of course carried our Princes and Princesses but sometimes this can become uncomfortable for them and us depending on several factors so the carrier will be a huge improvement for us all ✨

💕 Bye Daisy! It has been a lovely few days of snuggles and play, we kicked off our Christmas spirit with a visit to Windsor and your favourite garden centre to see their displays 🎄

We will be seeing Daisy again in the new year 🤗

💕 Starting the final month of the year with Daisy, it has only been a few weeks since we were with her and it is always a pleasure!

Daisy loves a garden centre so we will be heading to one of those this week and maybe even Windsor to see the lights and the Christmas window displays ✨

On our way back South we have had our most unique sit to date 😃

Throw in a couple of sheep and cows and it is pretty much a farm 😂 We have looked after birds and reptiles before but never guinea pigs, they are so CUTE 🫶

There are also bee hives but with the time of year they are sleeping 😴

We will post some footage on our stories of the birds, they know when it's bed time 😊

We missed our morning snuggles with these guys this morning, it has been an amazing week with them and our first official sit in our home town 🩵💙

🤞There is at least one more snow day this winter so you can enjoy it with your mum and dad ✨

We will see you again for a walk and hopefully in 2025 for more adventures 😊

❄️ Gino and Fred have absolutely loved the snow this week, it's forecast heavy rain for tomorrow so it will like wash away!
