Happy (belated) Thanksgiving from us at Colmsgate Farm Eventing! We are so thankful for all of our special lesson horses, our lovely borders, and all of our amazing riders! We have the BEST barn family! ❤️

We ended our 2024 season with a dressage show at Bit O’ Woods on Nov 3 and one last event on Nov 16!

Our dressage show was awesome! Haley and Blondie went and did their first independent dressage tests, Erin and Annie rode intro C for the first time together, and Beth and Mia had personal best dressage scores!! (70s!) Penny and SB also came out with personal best dressage scores and went and did some clear round jumping (he was waaaay too excited!)

Our last event was so much fun- Hayden and Lina went and did their first full event together and came out with a blue ribbon, so did Mollie and Blondie! 🤩🤩 Beth and Mia did some dressage and came out with a 70 and 71!! Nikki and Nora powered through some really scary wind and had a great ride 💪

Thank you for such a fantastic 2024 show season everyone!! Can’t wait for next year!

Last weekend at Bucks County Horse Park ! It was their Halloween show, we will have to do more dressing up next year! FGF Aquilina Chrome and Deryn sported an absolutely adorable minion costume, and had the best time going XC together! Lauren and Lev had a great show together and are starting to figure out XC! Zoey and Nikki Hotwheels had a fantastic stadium round, and a nice calm XC round. FGF Andromeda and Erin had the best combined test together! We always love the BCHP horse shows!

The Domer’ s ( knight and Annie’s family ) who are a large Part of our barn family are going through some medical issues.

Not having to worry about making dinner would be a huge help to them .

Fantastic ending to a wonderful weekend ! Lilly and Full Gallops little black dress moved up another place after stadium to finish 7th for Championships and 5th for Young Rider !!! I could not be prouder of theses girls, they have worked so hard to get here and I am so lucky to be along for their ride ! P.S Belle got her Victory Gallop !

Awesome day yesterday ! Lilly and Belle had a wonderful dressage test, and then had a double clean cross country ( no jump and no time). On a course that gave a lot of people trouble , moving them up 5 places !! Today is show jumping wish us luck 🍀!

Full gallop’s Little Black Dress , Lilly and I are all settled in at The Maryland Horse Trials for Area 2 Champs ! Cross country course looks so fun and can’t wait for Lilly to trot down centerline around 11 am this am .

Sept 7 at Horse Park of New Jersey at Stone Tavern, Inc. ! Erin and Annie had their best CT to date! Lauren and Lev had great dressage and stadium and learned a lot on cross country. Penny and Iron did their first full event together, with their best stadium round EVER and came out with a great ribbon. Lastly Deryn and FGF Aquilina Chrome did their first event together and learned so much, and had such a fantastic ride, even earning a ribbon their first time out!!

Pictures from Bucks County Horse Park on 8/25! Addy and ShowBoy had their first outing together and had a fantastic dressage test and stadium round! Nora and Nikki Hotwheels had a great dressage test and learned a lot together. Lauren and Lev had a fantastic show together as well! We finished off our show with Blondie and Luciana at her very first show and came out with an awesome ribbon!! Way to go everyone! Hard work pays off! 😁

Yesterday Lilly and FGF Little Black Dress placed fifth in Novice division at Bucks County Horse Park which qualified them for AEC zone 2 championships! Amanda and Londino Z placed fifth in starter division to qualify for AEC as well!! To say we are proud of them is an understatement! These ladies have worked their butts off to get here!!
