I was born on 5th February 2015 and on 10th April 2015 I was adopted and went to live in my forever home with my two new Mums. I get loads of love and attention and am the fur baby in our family of three. One day I hope to get a Bichon sister and to live altogether in a new house and make new friends with dogs that bark with Scottish accents or so my Mums tell me.

Morning all! My pawrent is getting some early gardening done today (I am scoring on effort and presentation) and then we are watching !! It’s my favourite two weeks of the year… I don’t like chasing balls but I love watching them on television 🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾 who is your pick for the title? I’ll vote for any player with a … 🐶 or failing that, a dog of any kind I suppose … 🐩

Wow I got a real treat today. My pawrents drove to Asda at 6.45am (I know, it doesn’t sound exciting…), and I got a quick 20-minute toddle around the nearby pond. I’ve only been able to go round the block so it was a real treat to toddle on some grass before it got too warm. And I met some moorhens! They came to say hello! 🐶🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Wow this is less than three weeks ago!! You can hardly see anything now. My fur is growing back and I am building up my walks. I get to do 20 minutes a day from Monday 🐶🐾🐾🐾

My tail tells a story… I sat in some flowers and my pawrents have found said (squashed) flowers, a twig, some random dried bits and some polystyrene in my tail! Can you beat that? I mean, what’s a tail for if not to collect things in? 🐶

It’s bath day!!! First time in weeks as I couldn’t have one when my kneecap popped out or after I had my op. I do like a bath and once I have had my morning snooze it’s all systems go.

My fur is growing back now so I won’t be able to show off my scar for much longer… 🐶

Oh I was being soooo good… but I secretly nibbled my leg at 1am this morning (okay perhaps I was being a bit loud) so the Cone of Beauty is back on. I do like the smell of hibiscrub though, so it’s all good. And I got my first proper little walk round the corner to the 📮 this morning! Sleepy now… 💤 🐶

So this is me showing a bit of leg. Stitches are out and the scab is coming off. My pawrents are finding bits everywhere. I said it’s quite exciting like a treasure hunt… they don’t seem convinced. Most of the bottom bit is loose but the top section is still stuck fast. And I haven’t nibbled it once even without my Cone of Beauty on. I am THAT GOOD 🐶 Not allowed a bath til next weekend though… and I must admit I am looking forward to it… 🐶

So I had another cuddle with the vet yesterday (apparently all part of the service…) and I had my stitches removed! He was really pleased with me and said I can now start doing a five-minute walk daily for the rest of this week in the garden. After that we can do another five minutes each week. We have worked out it will take 12 weeks until we can do our favourite walk down by the river again. My pawrents have marked it on the calendar 📆 🐶 and the cone is off as long as I am in view (as if I would do anything…) 🐶

This lawn needs a trim… I’ve eaten some but it really wasn’t worth the effort. I need to crack my whip this Bank Holiday weekend, I can see things have gone downhill since I had my op. My pawrents need kicking into shape again methinks. I need a short lawn to strut about on again now I’m not wobbling as much 🐶

Morning all - I’m mostly spending this morning in the dining room for work (I’m not working obviously… still on sick leave and aiming to milk it), and I have my orthopaedic bed to sleep on. Very comfy too 🐶

I’ve just been for my first checkup and the lovely vet said I don’t need to be in my crate any more! I just need to stay in the room one of my pawrents is in. Yay! I can wobble around on the floor now. No jumping although I can’t do that anyway for a while. Just having a cuddle on the sofa. Very happy to report the vet gave me two cuddles as well. 10/10 for service 🐶

Morning all! I slept better last night, and I am beginning to figure out whether I can escape my pen. I am tired still because of my leg but my pawrents say I am looking more like myself. I am not stoned any more and gradually moving back into pickle mode… 🐶
