In spite being full and extra stressed the last few days, we want to help this sweet lady who as you can see, didn't have the best life so far. She is a staffy mix with a short breed type and was used for breeding. After a few litters she was abandoned and unfortunately got pregnant again. Her last litter had originally 10 pups and 6 were adopted. 2 died when hit by cars and 2 are available for adopting.
The sweet lady has a very gentle character. Shes polite and loving, fine with humans but not cats. As you can see in one of the photos, she wasnt treated the best so far. We dont know if the wound will fully heal and the fur will grow again. We want so much to bring her to the shelter cause where she is isnt safe but we dont have any space. And unfortunately not even for the pups.
Our little family needs homes and desperately. Its 2 days now that we 're asking friends and anyone we know if they can help but nothing. We dont want to see her dead but we dont have space either. If anyone in Cyprus has some little space, please message us. She may be a staffy mix but shes one of the kindest dogs we ever seen. Please beyond the breed.

We are losing him and we dont know what to do. At his age, theres not much we can do actually and we are feeling so so useless.
This little one, the last few days is pooing like snots. Pups do poo like that, they do diarrhea in a way since they are drinking milk. Connie, the pups mom, was diagnosed with giardia 2 days ago which is what causes this. Shes tested positive so shes taking meds, we had to give her even though shes breast feeding if we wanted to stop giardias circle. Cause it passes from the milk to the pups and have loose poo. Connie eats their poo cause thats what moms do and its a circle that doesn't stop.
We know that things are very difficult cause of the pups age. They are 2,5 weeks old, they are very young to cope with any parasite and any virus. They dont have any immune system and even a simple thing can kill them. Giardia may not be fatal to adults but it is to pups and at 2,5 weeks, they cant tolerate any meds that will save them. We 're giving him meds with the risk of causing problems afterwards if he lives.
With all these, our little baby has got very weak the last 2 days. We bottle feed him drop by drop to avoid him throwing up but his stomach doesn't tolerate any food. Hes not eating though on his own and this scares us, its not good. We dont know really what to do and if we lose him its going to be veeeery painful.

We got the other 2 shepherd pups. To be fair, we dont know if the are siblings with Snowhite or the other pups but they look alike. Its just too much a coincidence to find 5 shepherd/lab looking pups the same days being abandoned in 2 districts. And Cyprus districts arent large like other countries.
The 2 pups who are girls, have a more lab look while Snowhite is shepherd. Both are gorgeous girls and need as well homes. Unfortunately they are timid and scared. Due to space, we couldn't take them the same time as Snowhite and they arent so much socialised as her. We can see the difference in the behavior and its breaking our heart but when you dont have space, you dont. We cant kill ourselves and foster homes for large pups/dogs arent found easily.
The pups need sponsors and hopefully foster homes. We will put them with socialised pups their age so the can learn from them but really, putting them in a cage in their condition isnt the best. Remember that who ever sponsors a dog, will get to name it so our sponsors will need to think of 2 beautiful names. Now they are around 3-4 months old and they will be big size.

A small update for this scared boy. We should have done much more for him to be honest but hes progressing on slow motion so we kinda ignored it. We promise to take lots of photos of him and do a proper post on him cause he needs to find a home.
Now Noel went to the vet to do his blood tests. All our large animals are tested every 4 months for erlichia and leishmania which are the most common diseases in Cyprus. Smaller dogs are tested every 6 months. Noel tests came out clear of course which is amazing. Once the vet gives the ok, then we 'll take him to the shelter. After this, hes gonna be posted to find a home so if anyone is interested in this beautiful boy, please message us.

Is there anybody that wont smile after looking at this beautiful lady smiling? Is there anyone that wont smile back at her???? She is the definition of kindness and happiness in a photo. And yet shes abandoned unfortunately.
Cynthia, thats what we called this smiley lady, is one of the dogs we got recently from the pound. We dont ask anymore if they are abandoned or handed in as unwanted. To us they are all dogs that need help so we help. Shes small size of course and shes adult. We dont know how old but shes not an oldie. She can be anywhere between 5 and 9 years old. As you can see, shes super sweet, super loving, sociable.
We dont want to take her to the shelter when shes finished with the vet procedure. Once she done with the blood tests, vaccines, chip and neutering we want her to go to a home. Forever or a foster home it doesn't matter as long as its a home and not a cage. If you are in Cyprus and can help her, please message us. She deserves a home the soonest dont you think?

An update from this sweet lady. Kryssa went to a friend after we picked her from the vet as a long term foster. She was 8-9 years old if you remember and she was terrified. We know the life she had while with her owners and seriously some people shouldn't be allowed to even go close to animals.
After seeing how shut down she was, we talked with a friend and taken her there to give her some time to calm, to get a bit more confident. The lady lives in a small flat and works a lot of hours so the place isn't the most ideal foster home but its quiet, no people shouting, throwing stones or banging on her house to scare her. A larger home with a bit of a fenced garden to help her go out on her own would be better to be honest but we 're more than grateful to her foster mom.
Kryssa went to vet now to do her annual vaccine and check ups. Shes done a lot of progress from the state she was but needs more help. We dont know if anyone would be interested in adopting her in Cyprus or abroad. She does need the best help she can get.

We wrote this post 6 times so far and each time we delete it cause we end up swearing the person who abandoned her this tiny lady. We know we have to be polite and diplomatic with what we say but some times its beyond our powers.
A few days ago, this old lady was found behind a building as you see her in the first photo. She must 've been in the fields for some days cause she couldn't move, eat or drink. Exhausted is too little to say for her. Shes a mini pincher, 2-3 kilos. We dont know the age but shes old, really old. Most probably half blind and half deaf. Shes severely exhausted, cant stand straight and you can see that shes curling. The nurses at the vet tried to take her a few photos for us but she was falling after 1-2 seconds of standing. The vet took the min blood quantity he could to do her as many as blood tests he could. We will know tomorrow whats goind on but the vet has warned us that she might die in the next days. 😥
Why would anyone would abandon his best friend cause its old? Who would throw like a garbage in the countryside his loyal dog cause its sick? Who would be such a faceless a.........?!?!?!
The old lady is at the vet, on a soft bedding and as you can see on the iv. The vet is trying to lure her into eating pate but she wont even open her eyes. If anyone can help with her blood tests, we would be very grateful. [email protected] is our paypal and we 're got revolut and a bank account. Any help trust us is valuable. 🙏

We need very badly help. Really bad help with feeding Connies pups. As much as we wanted to, shes struggling to feed her pups. Last week we noticed the pups being hungry all the time but we hoped that she would cope cause its 10 of them!!
Our sweet girl, due to not having enough ni***es to breast feed the pups, half of them arent fed every time shes feeding them. To help you understand, its best if we explain. 4 of the 10 ni***es she has, are blocked. This isnt her first litter, its her second and guessing from the state of her ni***es, the pups were taken from her. 4 of her ni***es have lumps from having milk staying in them and this leaves her 6 ni***es available to feed 10 pups. So 6 pups are being fed and 4 are hungry. Unfortunately due to her poor situation, even the 6 arent fed as should have now that they are bigger in size.
Seeing that the pups arent fed normally we started bottle feeding but its not easy bottle feeding the pups during the day. Their foster mom works 8 hours a day and sometimes 16 hours a day. If this continues, we will lose some of the pups. 😔
Is there anyone in Cyprus that can help with bottle feeding the 1-2 of the pups to help them survive? We will supply the puppy milk of course and its only for 2-3 weeks as the pups are already 2 weeks old and soon will start on puppy food. We are begging you to help.🙏

Dont worry, he was at the vet to get fully checked and of course get groomed. He was at a proper state wasnt he? Matted and dirty, pretty bad shape.
Meet Teddy, one of 3 boys we are taking in our care but not all at once due to space. We agreed to take one boy first and as soon as hes adopted to take another one. Its the only solution we can offer with the amount of dogs we have. Seriously we want to help many many dogs but we dont have any space. We ended up accepting as new dogs, only the ones that will get adopted the soonest so we wont need to take them to the shelter. Its unbelievable but we have close to 90 dogs sitting in cages all over the island. We cant offer anything else.
Teddy is of course a poodle. A poodle crossed with a retriever and hes 2 years old. His one of 3 boys and his brothers look nothing like him. Hes a poodle, they are retrievers. The only thing we can say they have in common, is the size. The 3 youngsters are medium size. Not small like the poodle and not large like retrievers, they are in between. Teddy is the most quiet, most timid and laid back. Hes fine with dogs, humans and cats as well. Well hes ok with cats, his brothers arent.
As we said above, due to space, we prefer Teddy to get adopted locally. Unless a miracle happens and we find him a foster home till he gets adopted abroad? We really dont mind and if we had space, many things would be different. For adopting this cutie, please message us. If anyone can help with covering his grooming and first blood tests, you can send to our paypal account [email protected] or to our revolut or bank account. If you want infos about his retriever brothers, you will also need to contact us.
