Another gorgeous lady has improved and got better. Bella, the pointer we got around a month ago has a shiny skin, a normal weight and her fur is back. Its amazing seeing the dogs transformed into loving and gentle doggies. Remember that Bella was found as a stray with 4 pups and was taken to the local municipalities cages. The next place for them was the local pound but we stepped in and took them as her pups wouldn't survive there.
Bella must be around 5-6 years old? 🤔 cause she started having white hair on her chin. Shes got a lovely character, calm and gentle like adults have. She is active but not the crazy pup active. She likes to run and explore but also to chill out and relax. Enjoy the calmness like adults know how to. A quiet home will be the best thing for her. Shes fine with other dogs and humans but we dont know with cats yet.
We desperately need a foster home for her and her pups who have similar look with her. We dont know how we can help her due to space but we dont want to leave her and her pups go to the pound. If another rescue can help them, it would be brilliant. For more infos about fostering if you are in Cyprus please message us. We cover all vet expenses but not food cause we had foster homes buying dog food for their dogs as well.

We think shes ready to find a home home dont you agree? 🙂 Aurora has settle almost perfectly in her foster home in Reading, Uk.
Going to a foster home helps any dog learn how to be in a home and has surely helped Aurora. Shes was so stressed here, she hated living in a cage. She was always sitting in the corner, trying to hide. We could tell that she was living in a home before from her behaviour. We really wish that we had many foster homes locally as well cause this would help the dogs a lot but we 're not so lucky.
As we said above, Aurora lives now in Reading, Uk in a home with 3 other dogs and young children. She enjoys playing with the other dogs but doesn't like the cold weather. We have this with some dogs who never seen rain and felt cold. Dont forget that we are in Cyprus. Daytime we still have 24-25c here and night time 13-15c. If you are close to her, you can go meet her and you will love her.
For filling an application form to adopt this cocker girl, you will need to download it from our website or just message us here. We do homechecks and there a fee to pay for adopting her.

We post this gorgeous boy again, again and again. We dont stop trying, dont lose hopes even though sometimes time catches up on us. Jacks is still in foster care in Worcestershire, Uk since he didnt find a home yet. Not the easiest for him and his foster home who struggles balancing 7 dogs and 6 of the large.
Unfortunately Jacks and many dogs to be fair, isnt a pack dog. He likes dogs, he plays with dogs as you can see in the video but now he prefers to be quiet and alone if possible. We understand him even more now cause one of the resident dogs is dominant and doesn't like Jacks a lot. She tries to bully him and this causes small spats in the house. We 're very thankful to his foster home for trying to balance things and foster him so long but its not fair for either sides. Jacks has to find his own home and if this isnt done in a week, then we will bring him back to Cyprus. Even though is unfair to him, we can not inflict him on someone. Jacks has reduced adoption fee as we wanted to help this handsome boy find a home but not even this help him. 😔
Hes 4,5 years old and has lots of life ahead of him but by the looks of it, it wont be in a home since people dont give him much attention so far. We 're really heartbroken cause this is not what we want for.any of our dogs. We love this big boy but in December he returns to Cyprus. If anyone wants a gentle, kind and goofy fur friend before December, please message us. He would love to belong in family who loves outdoor sports cause he loves running and sniffing.

34 months apart one photo from another. Almost 3 years, thats how much this sweet boy is in our care, in our shelter in a cage. This is how long hes being ignored by people, how long hes waiting in a cage. How long hes looking outside the cage hoping for a day that never comes. And what Amares wants? To be free, to run in the countryside, to sleep in a home on a warm and soft bed.
Its 3 whole years that this boy was abandoned outside a house with a few other dogs. For a couple of months he was fostered in that house till his foster parents left the island. We brought him then to our shelter and ever since his with us. We see him everyday looking outside the cage waiting and waiting. His look kills us honestly. He sees the other dogs go cause they are adopted and he stays behind. If you take out the few months he was fostered at that house, his home is cage. From a happy young puppy he was in the first photo, he is the disappointed sad adult dog in the second photo. He was 6-7 months old and now hes 3,5 years old. This is the life he should have till he dies? We 're thinking it again and again, why people dont apply for him? Hes super friendly with dogs and humans, no cats but we understand it. Loves to run and sniff around like other dogs. He goes his walks in lead regularly. He is like every other dog, nothing less. We post him, share his posts and nothing. Why hes being ignored and punished in a way for what? Cause to us its like hes being punished and for something hes not guilty of.
That let down look in the second photo is what we see every day and its breaking our heart. We 're begging you to help him, just one person to give him a home. So many people want a four legged friend, why can be Amares? If anyone wants to ask anything about this handsome boy, please message us. We will be thrilled to see him find a home. Amares has a sponsored fee cause we want to help him and we send to most of the european countries. Just press the send message button and you will save a life.

Happy post this time!! 😊 2 more of our babies went to their homes. Monty and Melody, 2 of our lurcher pups were among the dogs that flown this weekend to the Netherlands to their forever homes. It was very very touching cause these 2 and Magnus who flew last week will grow up in homes, not in the shelter. Its really amazing getting to have a puppyhood and a life with lots of love and care. We owe a big thank you to the dutch ladies who do most of the work and help our dogs. Fingers crossed that the rest 4 pups will find as well homes. 🤞

Hes cute, hes a sweetie, hes loving and hes small size but this didnt stop him from being abandoned. Santino isnt the first one and unfortunately not the last one thats being abandoned for various and most of the time stupid reasons.
The little guy whos around 1-2 years old, came from the local pound with 4 other small dogs. They are all of them sweethearts but as we said before, this didn't stop their owners from abandoning them. As we said above, hes loving, very socialised and sweet natured. Hes perfect with humans, other dogs and we believe with cats. We will know shortly with cats when he goes up at the shelter and meets our cats.
We would prefer that he gets adopted and doesn't need to go up at the shelter and get in a cage. Hes already been in the pound and trust us thats enough. We know how pounds are and its terrifying for any dog to go there. If anyone wants to give a home to this sweet boy, please message us. Our application form can be found in our website as well but if you message us, we can send it to you. We do homechecks and theres an adoption fee based on where you are cause we 're in Cyprus.

She feeling miserable but she needed to be operated. 😔 Our poor girl was operated on Friday and we went to see her yesterday. Shes isolated in the vet clinics cage till Monday we need to pick her up and she hates it but she cant run. Shes not allowed.
Amalia was walking weirdly the last week. Shes was more quiet than usual, didn't want to run around like the other times. This made us suspect than maybe she was bullied at start but her cage mates are all fine. Then we noticed the way she was looking. Her back right leg wasnt walking properly. We took her to the vet and he checked her. Dislocation of her knee on the left one, the patella. Its a nightmare, really a nightmare. We dont have a place to isolate her after the operation and taking her back to her cage with the other dogs its impossible. Not mentioning that we 're broke and couldn't afford the operation. But Amalia needed to have her leg operated so she did.
We dont know if anyone locally can foster her. We dont get many offers for fostering in Cyprus unfortunately. She needs a quiet place for her leg to heal and the shelter is anything but that. If anyone can help with the operation cost we would be very grateful. We didnt ask the vet the cost, we hate knowing how much we owe but last time was around €450. Operations dont get cheaper unfortunately so its either that or more. Our paypal account is [email protected] and we 've got revolut and bank account of course. If anyone can foster her, please message us.

What ever we do with this big boy its not working. We posted him so many times, we talked with lots of people about adopting him but nothing worked. It like hes invisible to people. The only solution we have now is to bring him back to Cyprus since his foster home cant keep him any longer. In two weeks if he doesn't find a permanent home, he returns to Cyprus. 😔

Hes so proud of himself and why shouldn't he be? Hes such a stunning boy, such a gorgeous dog. If only he could find a home and not wait so long for a family. Cause hes waiting soooo long for someone to choose him.
We posted Jacks 3? 4? times since hes in foster care in Uk. His posts go viral cause hes really an impressive dog. Dozens of comments, hundreds of shares but thats it. When it comes to applying, very few persons apply and this not just with Jacks. Yes comments and shares help with a post, more people will see it but we noticed this happening with many of our dogs we posted. Huge response but few applications and we dont know why each time. Maybe with Jacks its his size even though hes got a lovely character. We say that hes large size in each post but people dont know how large he is. So this time we post him playing with other dogs and humans next to him so his size would be more obvious. Hes tall and large size but not huge. If you 're used to large dogs, he would seem very normal to you. If you 're used to small breeds, then Jacks would look huge to you.
Jacks is an adult dog, hes a segugio/shepherd dog around 5 years old. His siblings are all living in Uk by the way and were adopted years ago. Jacks is the only one remaining and to help him get adopted, we even sponsored part of his ticket. Hes playful, sociable but due to be large size its best if hes adopted as an only dog or with a large female girl to be his playmate. Due to being tall he can jump and climb. Not birds hes got a very good nose. One of his brothers is trained on man trailing. Jacks also loves humans but we prefer him to be adopted in a family with children over 10 years old cause he gets very clumsy.
If he doesn't find a home soon for him, we 're thinking of taking him back to Cyprus. We cant inflict him on anyone and we cant have him in foster care forever. Its unfair for all but we dont want to force his foster family having him for years. Its not fair on them. Please give him a chance. Jacks is in Worcester and if you 're close you can go visit him. Please help cause we don't want to take him bacK.

No one to help her?!?! Shes gonna go to the local pound and we dont have any way of helping her. We managed to help her a year ago when her first owner handed her but now we cant. Its really unfair for her. 😥
Demi needs a foster home at least in Cyprus till we can find her something more permanent. A foster home will give us time till we 'll have a flight to send her abroad.

We 've got a big girl that needs desperately a home. Demi is german shepherd obviously, a beautiful young girl around 3 years old. A big girl who so far lives with her family, 2 adults with 2 children and 2 more dogs. She was adopted 1 year ago, maybe you remember her if you follow our posts.
Her owner contacted asking us for help as they have to rehome her. They have a sudden unexpected problem and they have to find her a new home otherwise she will go to the pound. This would be a shame as shes very sweet and kind dog. Demi may be a big dog but shes a softy. Shes so sensitive she wont cope in the pound with other big dogs going crazy. 😔 We know her family and know their problem so dont start commenting with nasty comments. The guys have more important issues to deal with now and Demi wont have any care.
We dont know what to do cause we are full now. We 're trying to make new cages but it wont be soon due to funds, we 're a few thousands short at the point so building will take some time. If we managed to build them, she would 've come here and we could find her a home but as things as now, she needs a foster or forever home and by tonight if possible.
If anyone out there can help this girl, please message us. Shes the kindest soul and deserves all the love in the world. There must be someone in Cyprus to help her.

Please!!! Seriously please help Ava. From the day we got her she didnt have one first look, not one application. And why?? Cause shes a bully mix. It doesn't matter if shes one of the kindest dogs we have at the shelter. She looks bully so to people this means that one day, somewhere, she will attack and eat her owner for breakfast. 🙄 Seriously like this is ever possible with Avas character. She is a bully mix, a staffy or a pitty or even a frenchie crossed with a pointer ( we believe this due to her markings) and shes 2? 3? years old the very max. This sweet angel who was a basset body shape, she is long and veeery short, is very friendly with humans, dogs and cats. We took her today at the vet for her scheduled check up. Dogs, cats, kids and some birds passed by her with their owners and she didnt respond aggressively to anyone. She was actually asking for attention and love. It was so unfair watching everyone walk the other way and avoid her when her was so friendly. 😥 It was so disappointing, we wanted to shout shes friendly! shes kind and loving! dont avoid her, it hurts her.
We would really be very grateful if someone would give her a chance and foster or adopt her. We dont want to take her back to the cage at the shelter. Shes so kind dam it, why do people have to put labels on how someone looks? ☹️ If anyone in Cyprus can help or abroad, please message us. Ava is worth it.
