Rue has been busy making sure the yard is clear of critters. She has the instinct and training to hunt and she has shown us this passion this spring.

I have had a lot of people asking for updates.
We do plan to breed her this spring. She has passed all her breeding exams. I will let everyone know when she decides that she is ready 😉

With her brilliant mind and excellent check of health she will make some remarkable puppies.

Rue began her cycle today, if things stay on track she should come into her next cycle in April. I will keep everyone posted but we have hopes of June puppies! The pups will have the same father as our previous litters (Willie Nelsen)! ❤️

I do have 5 people who have spoken interest and once puppies are verified, they will be notified. If you want to be on the list please let me know.

Here is our girl Rue with our old girl Charlie. ❤️ Our golden girls hold such a large part of our hearts. Goldens are so affectionate and excellent family dogs. We are so blessed to have them in our lives.

Sorry for the lack of updates, Rue was at training this summer so we didn’t have too much to share. She began with wetland training in April and started introducing upland training the past two months as well. Through training, we are able to identify if Rue holds a “trainable mind” which is very important before we breed. We want to make sure Rue holds a personality and brain that she can pass down to her puppies. This will ensure they develop and grow into successful dogs.

She is now home and loves to retrieve! The trainer, as well as ourselves, are very pleased with how much she loves to learn and please her “person”. She has passed the training tests with ease! Rue will have her hip testing done in April (she must be two years old for these tests).

I would like everyone to meet Emily’s BuckaRue “Rue”… she was born Easter Day and joined our family on June 10th. As long as Rue’s testing goes well in the spring of 2024 (2 years old), Rue will have a litter of puppies.

Rue has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is still working on containing her excitement in the mornings when we sees us (jumping) but she has been a quick learner with basic commands (sit, down, no) and sweet companion for all three of our children. Emily, our daughter, is especially connected to her. Check out the video in the comments

I have had a few people asking if Charlie will be having puppies again… Unfortunately she cannot. We had to spay Charlie. She got a tumor on one of her breasts in 2018… when we took her in to get tested, the cancer had already hit her blood stream. They gave me one year for her to live 😳 The GREAT NEWS is she still eating well, loving life, and running figure 8s in the yard. She may have added a few grays on her face though 😉

I still receive letters about puppies that were sold years prior… This is why I love finding wonderful homes for goldens 🥰
