Swalcliffe 90 ODE ✨ Straight back to it after a weeks holiday meant Charlie was full of beans but still gave a reasonable 35 dressage, 1 pole in the SJ and clear XC, but slowing down for the slippy ground meant we got our first XC time pens✨Definitely our most complex XC course to date and still managing a top 10 placing, what a mega boy 🥳

And massive well done to Maisie Anderson smashing her first ODE (even with a newly broken nose 😬)

Charlie boy smashed it out the park today 🥳 2nd in our first 90 ODE finishing on our dressage score of 34.5 and a near perfect 1 second under the optimum XC time. He was lovely and relaxed all day, to take a rosette home was a bonus, couldn’t have asked for more 🥰 Big thankyou to super grooms Annie Guild and Maisie Solihull Riding Club The Cotswold Cup

SJ at Kingston Maurward yesterday 🏵️ Taking home 3rd and 4th rosettes, lovely clear in the 90 but going too slow for once. 4 poles in the 1m where apparently I forgot how to ride but Charlie was super 🏅

Another awesome weekend at Sean’s 🤗Tilly lost a shoe on the second day, a shame because she was making a lot of progress. But it meant I got to ride Sean’s amazing 4yo Apollo - a very cool horse who taught me a lot. And a ride on Matts lovely Henric at the end 😊

Good weekend out for BD Quest, with Charlie taking home a 1st in the intro and 3rd in the prelim with 68% in both 🏵️ a couple of slightly wobbly CLs and halts dropped us down but some lovely comments from the judges about our partnership ☺️

Very proud of Charlie today in another prelim dressage. A big spook at people up the bank behind the judges box knocked us out the top placings but we somehow still managed a 6th 🏅He did a lovely test apart from that and came back to me very quickly to carry on

Busy weekend with the horses 🤗First go at arena eventing with Charlie and he loved it as expected - ready for some XC. Dressage on Sunday with Charlie for 68% and 5th place 🥳. Then Tilly needed to humble me so got very excited with massive broncs on the forest that ended with me on the floor 🙃. Finishing with a relaxing ride and lead this morning to stretch their legs

Back to Sean’s NF summer clinic with Jaffa 🥹 Jaffa’s lameness from an old injury has come back so he’ll be going in for some keyhole surgery on his leg, but hoping with everything that this will give him a long riding career afterwards 🤞. Amazing pics by

Pontispool 80 ODE - Cotswold Cup 🏆 Clear SJ and clear XC inside the time.
38.3 dressage - definitely not our best test but his attitude was lovely, more than happy for our first ODE.
Very proud of Charlie, especially after our horse box broke down on the way and our 2 1/2 hour journey turned into 7 hours.

Just 1 pole in the 90, and 4 poles in the 1m but still managing a 6th rosette 🏵️ Work in progress learning to sit back on his haunches to keep up the uprights, but a very good boy for only our 3 or 4th meter class together ⭐️

THE most amazing few days away at a Sean Coleman clinic. Me and Charlie learnt so much- worked on our ground work, a mini XC lesson in the forest, swimming, climbing, massively built our confidence up together so that we feel like a real unit now. And I got to have a race against Sean too 😄
