We love both our pets and plants, but sometimes the two don't co-exist well together. Here are some of the 10 common toxic plants that should be avoided around cats and dogs if possible. Even if your pet eats one of these and shows no Immediate symptoms of illness, it can take several days or weeks before you notice something may be wrong. Eating these plants can lead to liver and kidney damage etc. If you do have these types of plants around your home, you may want to relocate it to a higher shelf to avoid any accidents. So one of the top questions clients often ask me is "How can I trim my pets nails at home?". This is especially good to know to help your pets walk stable on slippery ice in the winter time. In these videos I will demonstrate how to trim your dogs nails at home and also teach you ways you can help desensitize your pets to having their nails trimmed. Even if you are unable to trim them yourself, you can help your pet become much less anxious about having their paws touched and nails trimmed. Your groomers and vets will thank you! A dog is never too old to start training.
