Back at one of my favourite venues, Anvil Park Stud today after a few weeks off. Came 1st in the 65 class but a refusal put me in 6th position in the 75. Still really pleased with Zeb’s form.

I’ve always been fascinated with Arabs and was so lucky to be able to go out for a sunrise ride in the desert outside Dubai. I’ve also always wanted to get dad on a horse so was a pretty perfect morning 😂😂

The final NNPC Gymkhana of 2023. It was cold and windy and Zeb had a fresh clip from The Horse and Hound Lady 👌great fun as always and surprised as came away as 2023 Reserve Champion 😁😁

We’ve had a quiet week with Zeb. Wasn’t sure if he’d picked up an injury (he was fine👌) so rested him to be certain, with just gentle hacks. Back with a bang this afternoon with XC Hunter Trials. Was really only looking for a clear round but managed to get 6th place in the Open class. So happy! Want to do more XC…Dad says no 🤷🏻‍♂️👍

Showjumping at John Lake Riding Club JLRC in the 50, 60, 70 and 80 cm classes. Placed 1st in all classes other than the 70 where I came second. First time competing at 80 and Zeb was amazing clearing the 80cm oxer with 70cm spread. Mousehold Farm didn’t disappoint with incredible bacon rolls 👌

What a weekend! My first ever National competition at Hickstead for the Sunshine Championship Tour. I entered into 4 classes, all a mix of horses and ponies and rider ages. It was a very tough competition with some amazingly skilled horses and riders! Zeb didn’t let me down and although I was nervous I managed to go double clear and finish one spot outside placing (0.05 seconds in it!)

This was the last evening SJ clinic of the year with Neric Equestrian and the JLRC. The evenings are getting too dark now. Was a great clinic. Zeb was a little naughty on a couple of jumps but he often is when in the arena with other horses. He just gets excited and cheeky!

Took a trip to Holkham beach today with Ella and her family. Tide was in but we still managed to have some fun in the water and on the sand. Parked ponies at Mill Farm afterwards and walked into Wells for ice cream and chips!

So I went to the Alysham Show today. A great day out and really enjoyed watching my friends from the NNPC carry out the mounted games. So much so that when I got back to my yard, I did some games on Zeb x

A day at the races! First time I’ve been to watch horse racing. Didn’t win but had a great time and enjoyed seeing the racehorses in the enclosures.

Zeb was on form in todays jump lesson at Neric Equestrian. Weather was a little cooler and I think he prefers to work out in the morning when his legs are a bit fresher.

I spent the day with NNPC over at Blackwater Farm being taught road safety and awareness and taking my D and D + tests. Pleased to say I passed both 😅

My dad loves Zeb so much! He says he is the Labrador he always wanted but was never allowed (we have chihuahuas 😂) he looks after him every day and dad would say Zeb looks after him at the same time 😘

The first ever John Lake Riding Club JLRC. My dad is part of the committee for this new riding club based at Mousehold Farm in Rackheath. I competed in the 60 and 70 class and came third in the 70 👌👌
