As many of you know, we've had a lot of life changes happen this year, especially with our 2nd baby due in December.
In light of this, I'm not sure where my breeding program will be in the coming months... my dogs/puppies have been my life and passion for so long, but there is so much happening right now that I'm not sure how much longer I'll be breeding. I've already skipped Addie's heat for this fall because it's just more than I can handle right now at 8 months pregnant, with a rowdy toddler... and I don't want to compromise my program, or it's quality, in any way. After months of discussion, my husband and I are considering taking a break from breeding...and we're not sure yet for how long. We'll see how I feel postpartum, if I feel I can handle litters after adding another baby, and how our current family situation pans out.
All that to say, I'm not sure what the future holds right now for my program, so we're taking it a litter at a time.
Many of you have reached out to me asking about future litters and wanting to add a second addition from me. I currently have an 11 week old male, and just had a litter from Hazel x Tux that I'll be sharing photos of in 2 weeks when coat type is determined.
Because I can't guarantee litters beyond January, these little ones have been reduced by half because I want those wanting a 2nd addition from me to have that option without finances being the problem.
I appreciate the love and support as we navigate these life-changes. I'll keep updating and posting photos until a permanent decision is made. Feel free to message me with any questions.

The cream litter have all found great homes!
It came to my attention that some folks had qualms with me offering a reduction, so I just wanted to give a sincere explanation:
As most of you know, my world revolves around my dogs/litters. They are loved as family, and I sacrifice daily for them. I turn down day trips, skip vacations, and miss countless events because I have the dogs to care for, litters due, and puppies to tend to. Being a breeder's not easy, it's 24/7 HARD work.
Furthermore, my puppies aren't merchandise that I treat casually. I don't discount, raffle, trade, or bid on them like warehouse items as some breeders do. I turn down dozens of people each litter that I don't feel are a good fit for my pups. I've had people offer hundreds above asking, but I turned them down because I didn't feel they'd provide the best home to my puppy.
I'm currently 4 months pregnant, and have been incredibly sick - virtually bedridden for months. It's been very difficult for me with my sickness, overlapping litters, changes in my husband's business, and a keeping up with a very busy toddler. My family is incredibly helpful, but they'll be out of town for a while starting this week, and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep this litter much past 8 weeks while keeping up with my toddler, and our business, while sick. So in an effort to save my sanity and help with my non-existent energy, I chose to publicly reduce the remaining puppy to find her a good home as close to 8 weeks as possible, instead of keeping her for several weeks/months, knowing how hard it's already been on me, and knowing she deserved to be in a good home instead of being the last remaining puppy here. First and foremost, my dedication is to ensuring them good homes over a set monitary value. She's found the perfect family, and I couldn't be happier with who she's ended up with. Usually, I don't compromise on amount, and keep the pups for as long as necessary, but increase training during their stay. But due to my current circumstances, that just wasn't really feasible this time around.

Our Story....

My family and I fell in love with the breed and have been raising quality, purebred miniature dachshunds for about 12 years. Our goal is to raise healthy, thriving, beautiful puppies, rehoming them with loving families, where they will be as cherished in your home as they are in ours.

Our dogs are ACA registered purebreds and we specialize in longhaired dapples, blacks and piebalds. Our puppies cannot leave our care until they are at least 8 weeks old. Each puppy will visit our vet, get age-appropriate vaccinations, and will be properly dewormed before they are released to their new homes. They will come with their registration papers (full or limited), their vet records, their state certified health certificates and some food.

Because we cannot imagine our lives without our dogs, we find no greater joy than when our puppies find their perfect forever homes. However, we know that sometimes things do not always work out as planned when introducing another four-legged member into the family or when life throws unexpected curveballs. We want you to know that we are here for you and your puppy! If for some unfortunate reason you are no longer able to keep your puppy, we insist on being the first person you contact as we will take the puppy back! We do not ever want to see any of our sweet babies put in a shelter or thrown into a bad situation. Let us know immediately and we will take the puppy back, either keeping him/her ourselves or rehoming them back into another loving family.

Adopting a puppy from us is never intended to be a one-time deal or a random transaction! Please stay in touch with us and send us photos, videos and updates - we love watching our babies grow and thrive. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns, too. Whether you have had the puppy for 2 weeks or 12 years, we will be happy to help in whatever ways we can! (Please remember, however, that we are not veterinarians and cannot give professional advice but we are willing to give opinions and advice to the absolute best of our knowledge.)
