We love family portraits, especially matchy matchy ones. Here’s our week so far in pictures.
Introducing more pack members. You might spot a familiar face!
With the Olympics in full swing and NZ’s medal tally rising, we’re going for gold at QDs today! Lots of podium finishes and a few impersonators.
Introducing more of our gang members!
Introducing some of the dogs who have graced QDs so far this week. More to come! You might spot a familiar face.
When you’re a water babe but something touches your leg in the water!
We’re all proud of Kim, including Snoop, her bunny-hunting wonder dog.
Flashback to Friday. Friends of all descriptions enjoyed hanging out together.
Good luck from QDs and Snoop to his human Kimberly Cadzow who is competing in the women’s road cycle race in the Olympics about 11.30pm (our time) tonight. Go Kim!
If the lip-tuck was an Olympic sport, we reckon we’ve got gold, silver and bronze right here! Walt, Muffy and Waffle are shining examples of lovable goofballs in our pack. 🤩
Dogs have been busy running around and staying warm this wintry week. What a gorgeous pack!
All the very best to sprollie Snoop’s owner Kim Cadzow, who is competing in the Olympics women’s cycling time trial overnight and the women’s road race on August 4. We’re excited and proud one of our dogs’ human has made it to the top and QDs will be among the many supporters cheering Kim on from afar 🤩
A slice of the action from FunDay Friday. What a handsome pack!
When you’re trying to get the party cranking and your friends aren’t as keen! Happy FunDay Friday.
Roll on Spring! Dogs had a taste of it, revelling in the sunshine ☀️ today and yesterday.
The Friday gang!
Happy birthday old blue eye! Phantom celebrated turning three with his Wednesday mates and had lots of foggy fun!
Foggy Friday. Move along, there’s not much to see but dogs had fun anyway!
Some favourite moments from the Tuesday dogs’ day in the country.
Such a satisfying crunch! You know you’re at a Central Otago dog daycare when mornings start with this ice breaker.
Celebrating cute friendships at QDs.
Pick of today’s pics. We love how dogs of all sizes look at and relate to one another.
Tuesday pack members enjoying some sunshine. Luckily the play pens dried beautifully after a day of rain yesterday.
Cardrona got a dump of snow overnight and it was “snowing” here too last week when resident goldies Mochi and Muffy were brushed out. While year-round swims help keep these fluffies in order, big-hair breeds sure need regular grooming. Mochi loves the attention but Muffy was a bit disturbed to lose so much of himself. There was enough fluff to make a golden retriever puppy!
A gentle reminder from the QDs team that we’ll be closed for Matariki this Friday. Enjoy the short week and the long weekend on the horizon!
Cold immersion therapy and a snack for Muffy this morning.
Jack paid a visit this morning and it was fresh!
Our Tuesday in pictures!

Besties: Mac and Bailey are kindred spirits who attend daycare as a couple. They especially enjoy a romp around the farm together and are always in for a dress-up. They’re a happy-go-lucky pair who love a day in the country.
Besties: today’s besties are Tessa and Jake. One of QDs’ love stories, they met at daycare and have been a tight couple ever since. While they’re not seeing each other exclusively as yet, they always start and finish their day of play together and are never happier than when they are free wheeling around the play pen together. We love a happy ending!
Besties: Henry the Dood and Domino are the perfect match in speed and energy. Henry is known for dramatic rolls and does all his own stunts. Domino loves to run and chase. They’re great to watch sprinting around the dog pen and on their farm run together, enjoying the wind in their ears.
It’s Besties week! Over the next few days we’ll introduce some of the special dog friends who met and bonded at daycare, starting with the famous duo, Rosso and Bonzo. Their play is always dynamic, with Bonzo carefully batting and patting wee Rosso!
You know it’s cold when the water bowls turn into a crunchy snack. Rosso is an ice fan! We’re all thawed out now and the sun is shining on our FunDay Friday!
Muffy and Spice are also firm friends. There was plenty of action in the play pen today!
Mochi and Muffy paying their respects at Arrowtown today. Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on Thursday to mark Anzac Day.
