I used to avoid putting Discus fish in clients tanks, I found them more difficult to care for in general. But I've found captive bred ones are far more tolerant to harder water and temperature range. Water quality is one thing I wouldn't sacrifice however, it's a must.

Watching these two ding dongs go at it after a water change. A client was away on vacation and a friend of his was nice enough to add some very large Midas Cichlids or 'Red Devils' to the display. Needless to say they're disturbing the peace.
